Ventajas: Very comfortable room 304 Nice powerful shower Very helpful staff

Desventajas: Nothing

Ventajas: Breakfast was excellent even though it was buffet style which we don't always like. Gluten free toast was provided and staff were quick to serve tea and coffee. I also noticed they offered to serve an elderly couple so they didn't have to get up to the buffet. The offer was turned down - but I like that they asked.

Desventajas: Nothing really. The room was quite small but we were only there one night so it didn't really matter.

Ventajas: The decor & ambience was fabulous. The proximity to the town & the Sunday market was a bonus. Lovely big bed. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Ventajas: Great parking, very quick check in and very nice staff. Had a company dinner in private dining room and it was excellent - extremely good canapés and meal and breakfast next day 10/10 Staff excellent at each encounter Very good and would go again for pleasure

Desventajas: I prefer a shower which is not over a bathtub

Ventajas: Very nicy shower, lovely location, amazing staff and a beautiful decor in the public areas of the hotel.

Desventajas: Wi-Fi was patchy through hotel, the bed wasn't the most comfortable and the television had a very old and limited selection.

Ventajas: Great location, food and bar facilities were excellent, and plenty of parking close by

Desventajas: The room had recently been painted so still had paint fumes. No air conditioning

Desventajas: Made the hotel aware we were travelling with a newborn baby and they put us on the first floor with no lift which made it very difficult for my husband and I as I have had a c section and can’t carry anything so out a lot Of Pressure on husband

Ventajas: El edificio principal es lo más destacable. Es una construcción Georgiana de bonita estampa. Hay que reconocer que el precio de la habitación es muy ajustado, pero a veces vale la pena pagar algo más.

Desventajas: Nuestra habitación estaba en un edificio anexo y había un desagradable olor a humedad. El hotel esta ubicado en una pequeña villa sin servicios, por lo que decidimos pedir el desayuno continental a 7,50 libras por persona y nos pareció una autentica tomadura de pelo. La bollería estaba seca como si fuera de varios días atrás. Si quieres mantequilla para las tostadas la tienes que pedir, y te traen un trozo aún frío de la nevera que apenas se puede untar. Lo demás eran cereales y fruta que ya no probamos. Cuando nos quejamos de la bollería nos dijeron que era el desayuno continental (si querías el english breakfast te costaba unas 13 libras) y no entendían que no nos quejábamos de lo que había, sino de la pésima calidad.

Ventajas: the location was near enough to the Safari park, which is why we choose this hotel. I did not have breakfast.

Ventajas: I liked the location and the outside space, although it could do with more chairs as there are tables with no chairs! The room was comfortable although very hot - no air conditioning or fan.

Desventajas: I would have liked a hand held shower over the bath as well as the fixed head. Very few bathroom amenities - one small shower gel and one small shampoo only. There is no mini bar or fridge.

Ventajas: We were allocated a room with a four-poster bed which was very comfortable. We also had a complimentary glass of Brandy provided in the room. The shower worked very well

Desventajas: We ate in the restaurant for dinner, and there were a number of items on the short menu which were not available. There was a problem in the kitchen with cooking what we did order, so we needed to order something else The only compensation was money off of the final bill.

Ventajas: A lovely hotel with excellent service from all staff - they are a credit to the establishment. We stayed in one of the lodges - was a lovely big room and so quiet. Food excellent and plentiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Ventajas: In need of upgrade, it was also impossible to shower without the water leaking out of the bath all over the floor and linoleum was lifting.

Desventajas: Entrance to car park was very narrow and parking after dark very difficult as there was no lighting in the area to rear of hotel.

Desventajas: Although I was told Gluten free options were available sad that didn’t include the sausages. GF sausages very easy to get hold of so that’s a shame. GF bread was on offer so that is good. Basic room. Would benefit from updating.

Ventajas: The bed was comfortable and it is im a nice location with noise to a minimum.

Desventajas: The staff didnt seem to know what was going on. They were suppsed to leave my key in a safe and semd me the code. They failed to do so, 15 minutes later a lady walks over saying she works here and didnt seem to have a clue as to what was going on. To make matters worse our room was filled with cobwebs. It was as if i booked a hotel room with the cast of a bugs life!!

Desventajas: the place is in need of a complete overhaul

Ventajas: Breakfast was a standard full English, nothing exceptional. Some fruit salad would have added some variety. There was good parking space and the bed was comfortable. Having an iron was a good plus.

Desventajas: Very worn, tired carpets and furnishings. Bar closed at 9pm as did the restaurant.

Ventajas: Breakfast was good

Desventajas: Bed had a cheap ikea mattress which was most uncomfortable

Ventajas: Excellent location for anyone visiting Woburn Abbey (or, like me, taking part in the triathlons there) as you're literally 2 minutes drive away. On street parking available right outside the hotel if your car is too big to fit in the car park.

Desventajas: No food available on Friday or Saturday nights so you have to go elsewhere - though there are lots of options nearby so not a particular problem.

Ventajas: It's a funny set-up, with a country pub and restaurant on one side of the main road, and an almost deserted hotel on the other side of the road. But my room was fine, albeit old fashioned, and on the rear of the hotel away from the traffic. Being away from the pub also meant there was no problem with noise from that source. The value for money, and the inclusion of a good cooked breakfast also count heavily in ts favour.

Desventajas: The hotel being apparently unstaffed, and run from the pub felt slightly odd. Decor and furnishings were very datd, but clean and in good repair.

Ventajas: This is NOT a £200 a night Hotel, its very very reasonable, in fact its very cheap, it was clean, the people were nice, breakfast was fine, I see a few people moaned in the reviews, well go pay 200 quid, and you'l still moan.... this is good and a bargain and yes i'd stay again , many thanks Guys And the shower was great even on the top floor

Ventajas: Great parking, location and staff. The breakfast was spot on and nothing seemed too much trouble. The staff let me keep my clubs stored in the office to save me taking them to my room, might only seem a minor thing but was better than carrying them up the stairs. Bed was comfy and room clean and spacious for a single will certainly be staying there again.

Ventajas: I was looking for a peaceful place to rest, it's set in a beautiful village ,with some lovely shops. I didn't what a very modern place, so the feel was home like and stepping back in time a little. The breakfast was lovely and the bar is set in a timber built period house. I was able to get a very good rate off peak, but would visit at any other time too.

Desventajas: The stair to the first floor are a little steep and the room I stay in for one was simple, but comfortable.

Ventajas: Had a single bedroom that was warm, comfortable & clean. Lovely reception area with games and books. Having the breakfast in the pub accross the road was no issue and very nice. Woburn is a lovely place to spend a bit of time with some nice cafes, restaurants and pubs

Ventajas: For the price the stay would have been ok had the bed been alright. It was creaky and the mattress was awful. Woke up with bad back.

Desventajas: Bed

Ventajas: Great breakfast, clean rooms. Located in the centre of Woburn. Has Greene King on tap.

Desventajas: Nothing major. Some staff seemed rather gloomy! The rooms tended to steam up from the bathroom so in the future a more vigorous extractor system would help.

Ventajas: Convenient

Desventajas: In need of refurbishment but ok for short stay

Desventajas: The hotel was past it's best. Our room was very grubby and not at all welcoming.The handle was off the bathroom door and was left on the floor. The curtain rail was screwed into a length of wood with the rail and fittings on show. There were also pieces of bare wood screwed to the wall apparently to support something. The bed clothes were clean but the bed itself was in a sorry state and rather knocked about. The stairs up to the room were filthy with old and faded threadbare carpet. The staff were very grumpy/miserable giving you the impression that they were doing you a big favour serving you. The was not just our opinion but also the opinion of family who joined us for dinner. The Bell has great potential to be a lovely character full place but it needs a damn good clean and redecorating decorating. After that get some staff who welcome guests rather than giving them the impression that they are doing them a favour by serving them. It's an old building with lots of character but at the moment it's in a very sorry state
