It was a fantastic experience and I considered it value for money despite some eye watering prices , the staff are very friendly and great fun . Great is a very over used world but I would certainly apply it here , best hotel I’ve stayed in . The conciage are just like on tv very friendly and welcoming

Desventajas: Todo lo demás - personal cortés, pero muy poco servicial a la hora de resolver problemas y hacer que los huéspedes se sientan cómodos. Servicio lento - la habitación no estaba disponible a tiempo - las vistas desde la habitación eran a las tuberías de vapor. Una de mis estancias más decepcionantes en comparación con las expectativas (y visito Londres 6-10 veces anualmente).
La habitación era vieja (estaba limpia) y no estaba actualizada para ser un hotel de lujo.

Ventajas: The location is great. Right around the corner from the V&A and the Natural History Museum. Across the street from the Tube, and surrounded by great restaurants. This was the perfect home base for a weekend in London. The decor was charming and whimsical, sort of Alice in Wonderland with lots of bright colors and a bird theme which ran through the hotel. Our room was small as most London Hotels are, and finding a place to stow the luggage was a bit of a hat trick, but once we figured it out, everything was great. Although we never had breakfast at the hotel, we did have morning coffee and tea in the tea room every day. Delightful. Would return in an instant!

Ventajas: The hotel is truly lovely. I think we had the smallest room there which I booked unknowingly. But it worked just fine. The bed was so comfy. There were slippers and robes and the bathroom floor was heated. The daily tea was also very nice. I can't write enough to explain how exceptional the hotel, staff and location were. You will have to try it for yourself. Overall I plan to go back to London and stay here again.

Ventajas: I loved pretty much everything about the hotel. I stayed there twice in September. It was gorgeous inside, extremely well located near the South Kensington tube and nearby pubs and restaurants in Chelsea, the staff was simply wonderful and the rooms were pretty and very comfortable. Also loved the front room where you can grab a bite to eat and a glass of wine, and the breakfast room downstairs. The free water, juices and soft drinks provided in the bar fridge were a nice touch.

Desventajas: The gym was very well appointed in terms of weights, towels and free water but the space was too small in my view, it needed to be at least double the size as only 2-3 people would comfortably fit. Equally, the smaller hotel rooms (where my sisters stayed) have limited space if you are staying for more than 2 nights, but the hotel reception kindly advised us of this beforehand.

When we checked on booking.com there were rooms available. When we informed them of this, the suites suddenly became available. They’re just after your money all of the time. Desventajas: The rooms are not very sound proof we had extremely loud neighbors several nights. More of business hotel. There were not many things to help tourists book restaurants or get around. The staff didn't have guidance on hop on hop off buses or tours. We figured it out on our own but I think in other hotels there is more help for that type of thing.

Inmobiliario muy anticuado, la insonorización pésima. La tele no funcionaba correctamente, la moqueta tenia manchas ( que probablemente no se podían eliminar). La conexión de internet muy mala y lenta. La puerta del baño no se cerraba. Pienso que el hotel, en su día fue un muy buen hotel de cinco estrellas, pero ha día de hoy necesita un reforma de inmobiliario, no puedes pagar un hotel de cinco estrellas cuando hay de cuatro mejores que este.

Walking distance within few minutes you can find self-service laundry, 24 hours convenience store, restaurants and bars, and most importantly the Earl’s Court metro station that brings you to everywhere. The breakfast is good although not many varieties, it’s sufficient to me! Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good stay!

Desventajas: Don't buy the breakfast. At nearly £20 each you should expect a certain standard. This was verging on dangerous. Undercooked bacon and sausage. Scrambled eggs were watery and a strange colour. Everything was cold. Literally the worst breakfast I've had in over 35 years of travelling.

Great amenities in terms of the pool, fitness center, etc. There is also a great coffee machine in the breakfast room. The staff were relatively friendly overall. I asked for a high room and got it no problem - there's a load bar across the road and I didn't want to listen to the people outside all night. The view was great. It is clean and well maintained. Ok size room for normal standards, but this is London so compared to what you get in this city, it is enormous. Plus the pool and steam room were a nice bonus to clear the head in the morning.

Ventajas: The breakfast was great, the steam room was really hot. The hotel was very accommodating for my special requests. Great amenities in terms of the pool, fitness center, etc. There is also a great coffee machine in the breakfast room. The staff were relatively friendly overall. Housekeeping staff were so friendly and funny. They could be working the front desk!
Desventajas: The WiFi was basically not working at all unless you were in the lobby. The pool had no shallow end so not good for children or short people. The shower in the ladies locker room was broken. The pillows were not comfortable at all. The mattresses are firm which wasn’t good or bad. I wasn’t keen on the mojito my bartender made me either. I would absolutely stay here again but these were the things I didn’t like. I wouldn’t recommend eating at the hotel but the kids menu is good for kids (I have a 20 month old)

Desventajas: Breakfast was pretty tepid. Why can't you keep hot items properly hot? And why are crispy fried foods kept in a closed container so they just go soggy and greasy? I don't know why London hotels only offer English breakfasts too; the rest of Europe manages to provide a whole range of fresh, healthy choice and for much better price.

Desventajas: They have 2 breakfast options: continental or hot English. We had a continental included in the price. There is a special person that instructs each guest on which breakfast they are entitled to have and that the hot breakfast is extra. Not very classy... I have a feeling they spend more money doing that and creating a negative vibe, as opposed to letting everyone have some scrambled eggs (how much can they cost?) and a good impression of the hotel.

Desventajas: Hotel is very dated, the bath tub is minuscule, and they also need to improve their TV lineup is not up to par, unable to watch the US open 2019 at all! Front desk was not the friendliest, we were first assigned a room that had a monotonous constant noise, when we called down they seemed to doubt our concerns, however the maintenance engineer heard it and agreed it was unacceptable.

Desventajas: This is the first time I have had to write a negative review. My 25 year old Phd student daughter was arriving from a different country and checked in first. She was given a room on the 6th floor (I believe 604) with a Massive old stain on the carpet from the bathroom into hallway (size of a towel) and in the morning was told there was no room service as I had prearranged that in order to receive sort of extra points(?). I advised her that none of the cleaning information was true and to advise staff to clean room, which they did. I really felt this inferior allocation of room and service may have been because of her young age - Shame on this hotel - I have stayed with the Marriott world wide on many occasions and have never encountered this.

I read that breakfast is for 6 pounds and I think it's good value for money. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, there is a lot of place under the shower. Hyde Park is some 10-15 minutes walking from hostel, Notting Hill is also very close.

Desventajas: NEVER accept room 011 please. What I dislike is that the guests can remove all the silence in the whole coming in and out the hotel - as they may think this underground room cannot be with guest but a laundry or equipment room. -hope it is just because I picked the worst room 011. Nothing good except the bed- which must be available in all the rooms. And, we ordered the breakfast + dinner package for the two days while got a surprise day by day the canteen were reserved by some group from 18:00-21:00, and I was forced to take two late dinners around 21:30, without earlier warning. Too bad a service. It is a problem of management. It is my first score giving under 8, sadly.

Ventajas: I really liked the night staff member - Lionel. I came in the middle of the night completely exhausted and his smile, his very warm approach has made me feel welcomed and safe. Honestly, I was a bit scared to stay in a hostel, especially because female dorm was not available at the time of the booking and the room is smaller than it is comfortable. He was polite, fun to talk to and helpful. I had genuine feeling he is a nice person to hang around. I was glad the locker inside of the room was big enough to store a small luggage and that in the bunk bed space you could find a plug, where to charge a phone. The long mirror in the room was also something I liked.

Desventajas: The rooms are uncomfortably small with too many bunk beds. When I wanted to open my tiny luggage, someone would open the door and hit me or someone would come out of bathroom and had to go through me. It was terrible to go toilet inside of the room as you could hear everything from the bathroom cubicle. Also I felt the bed curtains are not being changed after the guests left. There was no space to hang a towel, which is pretty annoying. The room ventilation was awful, there is a fan, which is noisy and terribly small window that opens at the bottom, not at the top - which I do not think is terribly safe or helping to ventilate.

Desventajas: I got a room on the lower floors, the room smelled stale, was a long walk away from the elevator and when I went to request a change I got attitude from the front desk staff Ana-Maria. I literally wanted to cancel and leave unfortunately as I had booked through booking.com I was told I needed to take that up with them. I asked for a room on a higher floor and was told she would only change my room if I either went back up and got my luggage or waited 30-40 mins for a concierge to help me. I was so upset. I went back up, gor my luggage and came back down. PS why dont they keep extra bottles of water in the room for your use?

Desventajas: Beds are like a rock. They give you poor quality bed linen and you have to make bed. When you end up in top bunk thats impossible to do. Never slept. Room and public areas unclean. Desventajas: Rooms were not clean. Carpet is filthy and needs to be removed, The comforters all smelled and the duvet covers do not get replaced when you leave. I changed rooms while I was there. Upon leaving you to leave the comforter douvet on the bed and the next person reuses it. The only f you ask they will give you a fresh one but the comforter still smell they need to be replaced immediately.

Desventajas: I've found maked fake reservations on mine behalf. They cancel these bookings after they have taken the money from the debit card you gave them. For one day i payed 3 times. Two time on my first debit card. One time them reservation first debit card(i didn't know nothing). One time i payed again whit my first debit card (my booking on booking.com). They have cancelled the two reservation (One true and one fake...) after take me money for two times into my first debit card. For sleep that night, i did must pay again whit my fisical (second) debit card £ 14.71. The price whit my reservation was £ 12.87. Them refund my only 12.87 tell me that i have payed another day...that i've payed whit cash.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful we arrived at the hotel early in the morning check in was at 2 pm we asked if we could leave our suitcases and check in later also when we checked out we again asked if we could leave our cases and pick up early evening this was agreed so we spent all day seeing London without the burden of suitcases and as we were going on the London Eye this was a great help as your bags are searched. The breakfast was help yourself buffet style which included the full English, croissant, fruit juice,coffee etc all hot nice way to start your day sightseeing.

Desventajas: La habitación que al principio nos dieron no tenía conexión a internet y estaba cubierta de moho negro. Llegamos tarde por la noche y no había ningún gerente encargado de ayudarnos hasta la mañana siguiente los pasillos y las alfombras están sucios, pero una vez que nos trasladaron la segunda habitación no estaba mal.

I would stay again when in London but I would make further research on other hotels in the area to compare price and facilities.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones y las instalaciones sufrían de cualquier edad o de un diseño deficiente. A veces ambos. Tuve que pasar mucho tiempo en los cafés, porque la habitación no tenía una toma eléctrica para cargar mi teléfono. La única ventilación en la habitación era desde una ventana abierta, exponiéndote a todo tipo de ruido de tráfico durante toda la noche.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones apestaban como a muerte, moho por todas partes, las camas eran asquerosas.

Desventajas: Había ropa interior de otras personas en mi habitación. Un hotel de lo peor.

Ventajas: Por el precio, muy bueno. La habitación era muy pequeña y la señal wifi era mala. El desayuno estaba bien.
Desventajas: El televisor no funcionaba, la cama era incómoda, y el desayuno era escaso.

Ventajas: The location - Victoria station is a stone's throw away and there are some good shops, pubs and restaurants nearby The staff were brilliant and very helpful The breakfast was ideal for us (cereal, toast and tea, coffee and Apple juice) though fruit would have been appreciated
Desventajas: The room was tiny - especially the bathroom The shower had good pressure but no adjustable height so felt as if I was drowning at times The wifi had to be paid for There was a light switch coming off the wall The room was freezing The room was in need of a real makeover - the carpet was so worn that it was turning from red to brown

Ventajas: Location great. Reception staff or owner friendly. Towels every day .
Desventajas: Small twin bedroom. Only white toast no brown. Had to ask for tea coffee sugar every day. No happy about the nail in the floor outside the shower. Which I constantly stood on. Tv too far away to watch properly. This was only our room not sure about other rooms.

Ventajas: La ubicación, solo y exclusivamente.
Desventajas: El baño súper pequeño, al igual que la habitación. Todo muy viejo. Las paredes manchadas. El colchón de muelles y muy viejo. No te podías mover por la habitación. La puerta del cuarto de baño había que dejarla abierta, porque no se cabía. El techo de la ducha con humedades. La placa ducha de 50x50. La tele en un lateral. Las ventanas muy viejas y daban a un muro. Se escuchaban goteras en el patio. Los recepcionistas muy antipáticos. Desayuno normal.

Desventajas: The room was filthy for which there is no excuse. Included breakfast was laughably disgusting. The lady for want of a better term of the word who seems to be an owner is very very rude and abused me for using the wrong disgusting coffee pot that was an old rusty perculator from the 1980’s

Desventajas: The room needs paint! The mattress was very poor. The bathroom needs to be improved. The toilet seat was broken. This was a POOR room. We can not recommend this hotel.
