Ventajas: Ubicación, arquitectura, moderno ambiente.

Desventajas: Las almohadas son tacaños

Ventajas: All in all I like this hostel pretty much (this is my 3rd stay there). Staff are always very friendly and helpful, the building and the atmosphere is unique and relaxing.

Desventajas: It's not super convenient to use the bathrooms. There's no space to place clothes and stuff, and sometimes when it's busy you have to find an available shower on another floor.

Ventajas: I’ve stayed there many times and it’s always a pleasure. The location is perfect, by the station so you can get anywhere so quickly. The building is gorgeous with so many common spaces to unwind and chill out. It’s a good place to meet new people. I’ve been traveling around Europe over the last two years and Palmers is the cleanest hostel I’ve stayed. The staff is a plus as well. Always nice and helpful guys.

Ventajas: Beds were clean, bathroom was clean, overall look of bistro was very nice

Desventajas: Wish there had been a bottom sheet on the bed

Ventajas: Privacy curtains round bunk are great. Bunks are solid and don't move. Cheap price, great location near tube, pretty quiet at night even tho it's a hostel in London.

Desventajas: There was a heatwave and no air con meant room was very hot. There was a fan but it didn't do much and was noisy. But it's rare that the weather gets so hot so it wouldn't put me off staying again.

Ventajas: The first time I stayed in this place was about 7 years ago, so I wanted to go back because I remember how much I loved it. And it was exactly how I remembered! The people who work there are very friendly and always willing to help, the place is incredible, it’s really close to the underground station, the breakfast is great, everything is SUPER clean and the vibe is really good! I would definitely stay again and again and again!

Ventajas: The ambiance in the room is very exquisite. It is very rusty and have this classic feeling in it. Love every details on the wall, the light setting and the kitchenette area.

Desventajas: The staff can be more engaging especially at the front desk. I've requested for lower bunk in my email due to injury at my ankle, however the email went unnoticed. During the checked in process, I've had mentioned about the request once again because it really hard for me to climb the stairs- the respond - we cannot move you to lower bunk as there is no availability throughout your stay. FYI, I stayed here for 3D2N.

Ventajas: The staffs were very helpful, they assisted me with my phone.

Desventajas: if they had female dormitory separately.

Ventajas: Staff were friendly and helpful

Desventajas: I lost my bag within hours after I checked in. The 2 thefts who checked in after me broke my locker and stole my bag. We ( Staff and I ) all know it’s them but we couldn’t do anything. A very bad experience in London.

Ventajas: La atención del personal, en especial la de Jorge y Massimo!!

Ventajas: Nos dejaron guardar las maletas durante toda la estancia y el día que no íbamos. Las camas bastante cómodas y las cortinas te daban mucha privacidad. Tenían secadores disponibles y café muy barato.

Desventajas: Hay pocas zonas donde recargar el móvil, a parte de la zona común.

Ventajas: The beds were amazing. The dorms incredible. The rooms were nice and private.

Desventajas: Could’ve had a movie room or somewhere cosy to watch movies with other guests.

Ventajas: El edificio es muy bonito, hay bar, sala de estar y la gente es educada y se duerme bien. Sin duda volvería. Además genial comunicación con el aeropuerto de Stansted

Desventajas: Suelo de moqueta y habitaciones poco espaciosas. Aunque haya muchas camas debería haber más espacio para poder dejar las maletas. Y tender toallas.

Ventajas: Una ubicación fantástica. Este fue el primer lugar en el que fuimos a Londres y el personal nos ayudó a poner los pies en el suelo. Las camas eran cómodas y la comida estaba bien para el precio.

Desventajas: Había obras fuera de nuestra habitación.

Ventajas: Nice staff that are very friendly and helpful with tips on London! Extra showers and toilets outside rooms are very helpful when people are using the ones in your room!

Desventajas: Not having WiFi in rooms is a bit of a pain.

Ventajas: The location, food menu

Desventajas: Uncomfortable bed, very small room

Ventajas: It was great, nice room and bathroom (I got room for 4), big kitchen, very nice staff

Desventajas: I would just like in kitchen to offer some free things like tea or sugar, paid breakfast could improve their coffee (too watery) and add cheese at least, for these two reasons I didn´t buy it after first day, but they advise you to look first and pay if you like so it is not like you don´t know what are you paying for Like it was said here before, windows can´t be opened and in warm weather it would make dificult to sleep there, fans will not help much.

Ventajas: Buena alternativa si lo que buscas es no pagar muchísimo. Buena ubicación. Desayunamos el último día, desayuno básico pero bien.

Ventajas: I was impressed that the hostel had facilities in place to make it accessible to people with physical disabilities The location is very convenient and close to underground, and bus station. Also the hostel is cleaned everyday. The internet is strong and only in the common areas which was nice to see lots of people and socialize I stayed at the time where the hot water heater had problems and the hostel refunded 50% of the cost, I liked their effort

Desventajas: Majority of the staff are helpful and friendly but there is an area for improvement. For example one male staff of indian decent usually didn’t like to help find solution for any problem and put blame on guest or just avoid responsibility.

Ventajas: La ubicacion es muy buena, el personal amable, la habitacion para 6 limpia y comoda. Buena relacion calidad-precio

Desventajas: Uno de los dias el ascendor no funciono, y el agua de la ducha no paso de templada (tirando a fria) ninguno de los dias. Las ventanas no se pueden casi abrir por lo que de hace dificil airear la habitacion

Ventajas: Will always stay here whenever they have availability. The best hostel I have stayed so far in London.

Ventajas: Welcoming and clean and great location

Desventajas: Problem with the boiler so not hot water but staff offered a discount and an alternative venue to shower etc

Ventajas: Location is easy access to the central London. I stayed in 4 pax's room and it excessed my expectations

Ventajas: Nice staff, they refilled soap upon request once we realized it was empty. Overall status of our 6 bed room was OK, could be a bit cleaner and tidy. We could leave luggage before checking in and after checking out in the dedicated room which also has lockers. I'd definitely recommend for low budget families and backpackers. There's Tesco Express and Sainsbury nearby. The bedroom was adapted for wheelchair in case of need. Solid bunk beds that don't shake when someone moved.

Desventajas: Not enough warm water on the 1st night for the 6 of us. Wi-Fi in bedrooms is not intended to be available (only in common areas like reception and kitchen). Bathroom was a bit smelly and sink tiny.

Ventajas: the kitchen is spacy with enough utensils that you can easily cook and staffs clean the kitchen everyday.The bed is comfortable with clean bedsheet. The location is very central.

Desventajas: The bathroom within the room do not have hot water.

Ventajas: Great has lace to stay. The staff are excellent. Always courteous and doing their best to keep the place tidy.

Ventajas: El personal era servicial. Las instalaciones eran frescas y bonitas, aunque las duchas estaban un poco apretadas. Este es un albergue que vive con 8 en una habitación en literas.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones estaban muy cálidas a pesar de abrir las ventanas y de estar fresco por las noches.

Ventajas: Very clean, well organised, great beds with privacy curtains, personnel very friendly and helpful.

Desventajas: Only if it was a bit closer to center

Ventajas: The hostel is close to the underground station in Zone 1, so it's easy and cheap to move around the city center. The hostel has wifi-coverage everywhere in the building.

Desventajas: The place has 1 shower for 3-5 rooms, which accomodate at least 12-20 people. The showers are always dirty: water on the floor, because there are now drains in it, toilet paper floating in the water, and dirty toilet seats. In addition to that, if there is a young and impatient visitor, he's gonna bang on the shower's door and shout at you, as it happened with me, because there is just one shower. And my shower had 2 rather large spiders living in it (not kidding!). The 4-bed room I stayed in had a cracked window and dirty walls. The beds are uncomfortable for your back, because the hostel uses thick sport mats with rubber cover instead of mattresses. And these mats are also very loud, so you hear them every time somebody changes his/her posture in bed. The curtains that covered my bed space were stained. The bed was a bit short for me, a 173 cm person. The bar inside the hostel didn't have some food/wine from its menu on 2 occasions. You can't get a towel for free or rent it, only buy for 5.50 pounds. You can't leave your suitcase in the locker room without paying for the locker, even if you agree not to put it in the locker and just leave in the room unattended.

Ventajas: Comfy bed, warm rooms, hot showers, friendly staff, great facilities, secure room.

Desventajas: Broken lifts and the new non refundable lockers.

Ventajas: Staff were very helpful, beds were comfortable most of all great value for money would definitely stay again. As an older lady I felt very at ease. The staff ensured that my son, who arrived a day later, was allocated a bed in the same dorm..great service everyone

Desventajas: It was a bit warm but nothing unbearable

Ventajas: Super clean and spacious. The staffers were amazing

Desventajas: Why cant they have a microwave and a fridge. I know there is a restaurant and pub which need business but a fridge and a microwave will definitely increase my respect for them for several inches. Everyone I talked to complained about this.

Desventajas: I was there for 3 nights and on two of them, I had to wait more than an hour for a bed (which was already booked). The bathroom inside the room is not very clean and there is no ventilation, so the smell is very bad.

Ventajas: Las habitaciones son amplias y están muy preparadas para poder compartir.

Ventajas: Tenía lavabo y espejo en este tipo de habitación y además me resultó muy práctico el diseño de litera (no el típico con escalones que no te cabe el pie ) Este es mi segundo comentario , porque otras noches me quede en una habitación de más capacidad de gente . Pero además de comentar el tema de desayuno

Desventajas: Solo hubo un inconveniente en mi estancia , porque se estropeó en ascensor . Pero no tengo más quejas .

Ventajas: The food is hotel very good. Crossint ,bread ,coffee and juice is good quality. The bar also very good in the hotel.

Desventajas: Hotel staff is very good and provide 24 hour facilities. Hotel is also clean and good.

Ventajas: The elevator was out. A staff member carried my suitcase upstairs. My room was freezing. They gave me a space heater.

Desventajas: Hotels were cheaper. The location was hard to find. The taxi ride there was expensive. Climbing stairs. and having to carry my card to leave my room. They don't want you to eat in your room and threaten to use dogs. People smoke outside the eating area. 10:00 check out. I later stayed in a 4 bed room with bunk beds. My friend's shirt was stolen while she took a shower. I didn't know where the shower was. There were no towels or paper towels.

Ventajas: Very hygiene and clean

Desventajas: Breakfast so simple didn’t like it

Desventajas: Personal attitude, poor bathroom facilities, no heating..

Ventajas: I liked the sturdy bunkbeds and the curtain provided some privacy, wifi was good, breakfast was alright. I got what I wanted.

Desventajas: I stayed in 002 which is the room next to reception. Whenever I needed the toilet I had to cross the whole reception area and sometimes through the school groups and when you're wearing your pjs it's a bit embarrassing. In that room there are two shower cubicles, one should be a toilet. Other than this, it was alright. My issues were with people being totally inconsiderate towards others.

Ventajas: Clean and nice atmosphere

Ventajas: They have a lot of space for setting up your computer and work, although it is not comfortable. Free lugagge storage. Great free coffee options. Fast check in and check out. Plenty showrrs and toilets. They are very clean too.

Desventajas: The mattress is to thin and, although i appreciate pods, this one is 190 cm or less so it very uncomfortable for tall people. The duvet would is also small. The bar was closed throughout my stay. I would appreciate if we had some, yogurt, tomatoes and cheese for breakfast but its ok. Ohh the banches have no leg room at all

Ventajas: ¡la ubicación del hostal era genial! Mi primera noche allí, entré a la ciudad para ver el London Eye, el Parlamento/el Big Ben y la Abadía de Westminster. Luego, regresé. Ida y vuelta: 1 h, 30 min. El albergue también está cerca de una estación de metro, así que llegar a cualquier parte es una brisa. El personal era amable, el precio era bueno y había una buena mezcla de viajeros.

Desventajas: Cerca de una carretera importante, así que se oye mucho ruido: ( Sólo dos duchas y dos aseos entre aproximadamente 25 personas. En realidad me sorprende que no haya sido demasiado un problema. Los baños podrían haber estado un poco más limpios.

Ventajas: The hostel is located very close to Waterloo train station which makes it possible explore the important places of London on foot. Rooms and bathroom were very clear.

Ventajas: Everything else.

Desventajas: Some noise from some customers.

Desventajas: Central location, very nice staff, quality bedsheets. Maybe not the dreamed toilet and shower facilities

Ventajas: The pub is great for laying back and practicing some people watching and they always play really nice music. You get a 10% discount in food and drinks, burgers are delicious. Staff is very nice!! Very close to train station and a few bus stops.

Desventajas: Cigarette smoke from people outside in the garden gets in the rooms sometimes, but only until the pub closes at around 00:30am

Ventajas: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the hostel was modern and clean, just like the pub downstairs. The breakfast which was added on in the morning was delicious. Can not get any better than that for the price

Desventajas: Nothing negative to say.

Ventajas: Clean room, luggage storage, bar opened all night. Good for a brief stay or for travellers on a super tight budget.

Ventajas: Location, vibe and cleanliness (private room).

Desventajas: Noisy, I recommend earplugs!

Ventajas: First of all, amazing staff, so helpful and kind. Location could not be better, really close to public transportation (underground and buses). The discount in the pub is a nice touch too.

Desventajas: The shared room got really stuffy in the night, so I guess some AC could help to keep humidity out

Ventajas: Personal amable, aunque un día no me aplicaron el descuento del 10% el la consumición, tal y como dicen. Cama nueva cómoda y limpia

Desventajas: Limpieza de los baños no muy buena

Ventajas: Todo el hostel es muy bonito, tal cual las fotos o mejor y el bar es hermoso. Todo está súper limpio, los que atienden son muy amables, las habitaciones son cómodas, silenciosas y con lockers. Las duchas también están muy bien, la verdad no tengo nada negativo para decir, todo perfecto.

Ventajas: Everything, the food, the drinks. All the guests are really cool. And all employees are hard working and nice.

Ventajas: Everyone was extremely friendly! The discounts are very good if you stay there, and everything is relatively clean, especially considering the price. If you are looking for a hostel that is well connected this is great, 5 minutes from the tube and 1 minute from multiple bus routes.
