Ventajas: OMG!! This is the best of the best I've ever lived. Not to mention the trendy and modern design of the room, but also every bit of this living experience in Lisbon. The room is spacious with very nice terrance and great view of the city. Water and beverage available in the room. A lovely welcome card with your name writing on it! Soft beds, blankets, sofa, chairs, etc. Receptionists were so friendly and knowledgable about the city, what they recommended to me was perfect, restaurants, timeout markets, local bars. They were very patient to explain everything to you.

Desventajas: There was an unfortunate smell of sewage outside the apartment at street level which did make its way into the apartment through open windows and through the pipework. For the most part we managed to hold back the worst of it with liberal doses of disinfectant down every sink and drain.

Ventajas: Staff went out of their way to provide excellent service. The breakfast buffet - especially the selection of fruit - was wonderful. The location is right next to one of the major train and metro stations, and is walking distance to major attractions (St. George's Castle, Elevador de Santa Justa), restaurants and shopping (high-end Chiado district is just a few minutes walk away). The property is beautiful and unique.

Desventajas: La ducha era muy complicada de utilizar. No se si era porque estaba estropeada o si porque faltaban las instrucciones de uso pero lo cierto es que para que el agua saliera del grifo elegido tenía prácticamente que rezar. Un día salía por el grifo pequeño, otro día por el telefonillo y otro por el rociador de techo. Nunca se sabía como cambiar de un sitio al otro . Más bien se trataba de tener suerte!

Ventajas: Browns era un pequeño hotel boutique en el centro de Lisboa. Su ubicación facilita la exploración y el personal de recepción y el bar eran increíblemente servicial y siempre estaban contentos. La habitación, aunque pequeña (habitación pequeña con vistas a la calle) era perfecta. Todos los pequeños detalles y extras compensaron la falta de tamaño. Recomendaría este hotel al 100% a cualquiera que visite Lisboa.

Metro y autobuses al lado si quieres ir algo más lejos como Belem o el aeropuerto. El personal amable y servicial. El desayuno es variado y rico. La ambientación y mobiliario es muy agradable, acogedora. La cama es extraordinaria, y la habitación genera un ambiente cálido ideal para el reposo del turista pateador. Todo muy limpio. Muy bien insonorizada a pesar de estar en zona muy céntrica.

Ventajas: Browns era un pequeño hotel boutique en el centro de Lisboa. Su ubicación facilita la exploración y el personal de recepción y el bar eran increíblemente servicial y siempre estaban contentos. La habitación, aunque pequeña (habitación pequeña con vistas a la calle) era perfecta. Todos los pequeños detalles y extras compensaron la falta de tamaño. Recomendaría este hotel al 100% a cualquiera que visite Lisboa.
Desventajas: Si tuviera que encontrar algo que no me haya gustado, fue el tratar de entrar en la habitación al principio. Había un pequeño truco para abrirla con la llave.

Ventajas: The location is really good and the hotel is renovated in a stylish way. The staff of breakfast buffet are really friendly. And the breakfast buffet is recommended.
Desventajas: Air circulation in the room is not so good and the air conditioner is controlled and adjusted just by the reception and you can not control it. The reception asked us to fill in a form and sign it just to borrow an umbrella for couple of hours in a rainy day.

Ventajas: Ubicación fantástica, en el centro de lo más importante a visitar, plaza del Comercio, barrio de Alfama, ascensor de Santa justa, barrio de Chiado. Metro y autobuses al lado si quieres ir algo más lejos como Belem o el aeropuerto. El personal amable y servicial. El desayuno es variado y rico. La ambientación y mobiliario es muy agradable, acogedora. La cama es extraordinaria, y la habitación genera un ambiente cálido ideal para el reposo del turista pateador. Todo muy limpio. Muy bien insonorizada a pesar de estar en zona muy céntrica.
Desventajas: Por poner un pero, la puerta de la ducha permitía que se escapara algo de agua. El predominio total del negro en puertas y paredes en los pasillos de las habitaciones, hacen que a alguien le pudiera resultar casi tétrico.

Ventajas: La relación calidad / precio es excelente. El desayuno está muy bien y sobre todo, lo más destacable, es la ubicación. Se puede ir andando a toda la zona centro de Lisboa con desplazamientos máximos de 15 min.

Ventajas: El desayuno es muy completo y rico. El personal es super agradable y muy divertido, siempre había fiesta (¡todas las tardes hay sangría gratis!) y gente jugando o hablando, la zona común es muy cómoda, con muchos sitios para tumbarse y descansar. Las habitaciones estaban insonorizadas para que la música no molestase a quienes querían dormir (la música se apaga a las 23h). Las duchas tenían mucha presión y el agua salía bien caliente, estaban muy limpias y siempre había huecos libres para ducharse. Había muchos secadores de pelo y lavabos. Hay una zona de lavandería para la ropa. Las literas eran bastante cómodas y la cocina muy completa para poder cocinar, con tres neveras para que siempre haya hueco para guardar tu comida. Encima está en pleno centro de Lisboa. Sin duda el mejor hostel que podía haber elegido.

Ventajas: One of the best places I've ever stayed at. An excellent hostel inside the historic Rossio train station located in Lisbon’s central Rossio square. This hostel did its job, and the downstairs facilities with the indoor garden were great. They also offered a lot of information on Lisbon, and the staff were super helpful and nice, especially the girl who checked me in. Clean and right next to the metro stations Restauradores and Rossion. The kitchen was nice and the shower was clean. Good breakfast and overall pleasant stay. I’d stay again. Highly recommend!

Ventajas: It is my pleasure to write this review for Lisbon Destination Hostel. It is located at Rossio main station which makes travelers more convenient to transfer other spots, like Sintra etc. The staff are also kind and professional. The good news is they provide the delicious breakfast every morning and the temperature of air conditioning and shower water are really comfortable. With these kind of advantages, I think the travelers should consider this option if you still hesitate. Hopefully, I will hang in out with my friends again and explore the beauty of Lisbon in the summer, I guess it would be wonderful.

Ventajas: What place to be, the location is Crazy, it is inside the oldest train station in Portugal, the breakfast is amazing. The free Sangria is a good to meet people, even better with the beer pong. The whole staff are great, shout out to Ricardo, Renata and Murilo, who help me with everything. I will be back for sure.

Ventajas: The location is fantastic and the dorm rooms are really comfortable with excellent facilities like lockers and hangers. Staff are very helpful and organise events for the guests. They were nice enough to organise a Christmas Feast for guests on Christmas day. Cleanliness is tip-top.

Ventajas: The hostel was great and the staff can not be more helpful and exceptional, love Riccardo and Derrick. All the tours organised by the hostel are quite great especially the pub crawls. They have a sister hostel where they start some tours and BBQs. The free Sangaria hour and free breakfast, comfy bed and all the facilities are clean and tidy.

Desventajas: My room was clean, but a little cramped. I may have missed something, but I could only find one (or two?) toilets for men. Never had to wait, and plenty of showers, but not many toilets. Really, this is being nitpicky. Great hostel and worth a few extra bucks.

Ventajas: Our room had a wonderful view on Restauradores Square with Nespresso, minibar and chocolate on the pillows every night. Very comfortable large bed. At the 7th floor every morning we enjoyed a rich and varied breakfast with view. Smoked salmon with sparking wine, grilled vegetables, warm croissants, cereals with yogurt and superfoods, fresh fruits and, not less important, very kind smiling waiters. On the 8th floor the terrace with loungers was like the”cherry on top of a cake”: just a surprise!

Ventajas: Terrific location with easy check in and comfortable rooms. The roof bar is an added bonus. The rooms were plenty big for 2 friends traveling together. The bathroom was especially spacious with a great shower! We could get anywhere we needed to be very easily from this location by any. mode of transport.

Ventajas: Hotel muy bien situado: boca de metro a la entrada. Desayuno muy rico, variado. Empleados de recepción muy amables y eficientes. Camareros de desayuno muy buenos, en especial Rui, muy atento y amable. Limpieza de la habitación excelente. Nada de ruidos.
Desventajas: Todo estuvo bien, solo que no me esperaba que el hotel estuviera incluido en una especie de centro comercial, me esperaba un hall grande y más lujoso teniendo en cuenta el precio. Y en cuanto a la relación calidad/precio, es baja. Me imagino que se paga que estás en Lisboa y la situación en la avenida Liberdade, pero es realmente caro.

Ventajas: Room was large and well equipped. Comfortable bed, big bath. Quiet as it faced a side street, not Ave Liberdade. Nice to have Nespresso machine in room as coffee available in breakfast room is so bad.
Desventajas: My promised "terrace" was really a balcony, just room enough for a small table and chairs. Also reception staff on evening I arrived were competent but hardly warm or welcoming -- not nearly like reception staff at Fonte Cruz Lisboa. Breakfast was sufficient but not as good as others I've had in this class of hotel in Portugal. And man, I wish these more upscale hotels would get rid of the coffee-making machines in breakfast room where you push a button to select your coffee/tea/hot chocolate. It all tastes like processed and synthetically sweetened bilgewater.

Desventajas: The first night I had a room on the first floor, a single room, which was located above the kitchen, with a zooming noise and totally no view from the room, so it felt very much closed up. I couldn’t sleep, because of the noise and luckily I got another, nicer room on the third floor. A nice gesture from the guy at the reception. It is noisy at night, due to the bar opposite, but that is due to the location, so nothing the hotel can be blamed for.

Some of the towels had stains. They wanted to charge us double the water bottle we bought from the receipt (which is also the price of 2x half the receipt from the nearby store)

Ventajas: The property is walking distance to everything. Tram 28 is just a couple of blocks away and on the other end Placa Commercial. Its right smack in the middle. We liked because of the location. Not so much uphill slopes because we were purposely avoiding that. And since we took uber most times, the hotel is in the corner of a main street so its easy to wait for the uber ride. The room's size is good, it was clean in general. There was someone at the reception 24/7.

La televisión era moderna y de buen tamaño, había aire acondicionado decente y la ubicación era bastante cómoda (cercana al centro andando y próxima a una parada de metro). La terraza pública ubicada en el último piso era muy agradable.
Desventajas: Aunque la ubicación estaba bien, el entorno era algo desagradable (lleno de pintadas y sucio). El aspecto del barrio era decadente contrastando con las tiendas de alta gama que había en la avenida principal (que se encuentra a escasos metros). Pero sin duda alguna la justificación de la baja valoración del alojamiento es la siguiente: En la terraza privada del apartamento había una rata muerta. Estaba justo enfrente del cuarto de la lavadora. Se lo comunicamos a la responsable y nos contestó que ese espacio no era suyo (cuando claramente sí lo era, ya que había una puerta con acceso directo y la lavadora era uno de los servicios ofertados). Entiendo perfectamente que este incidente puede pasarle a todo el mundo, pero me gustaría recalcar que la rata no fue retirada y permaneció allí durante toda nuestra estancia.

Desventajas: The suites were not well marked from the street, especially at night and the number marking was confusing as there was an 89 and an 89A. I found locating it at night on my own very stressful. I took a taxi and would not have felt safe arriving on my own to check in.

Desventajas: Complicado el tema del check in ya que tiene un horario reducido, te envían un mail explicándolo al reservar pero no se entiende muy bien. Si llegas después de las 19 hs te envían un código para entrar. Envié un mail avisando la hora de llegada, me respondieron pero no me quedó claro. Llamé por teléfono y no me atendieron. No es un lugar cómodo si uno llega en su coche ya que no hay lugar para aparcar y es una calle muy transitada. La habitación era muy chica sin lugar para las valijas ni armario para poner la ropa El desayuno era muy caro por lo que desayunamos en un súper de en frente que tiene cafetería muy buena y económica.

On the top floor of the building there are many apartments and all very small, even we were in the biggest room, still. The lighting is depressing and the bed sheets and linen need to be cleaner. There are multiple code locks to get into the building, into the floor and into your room, and up to the terrace which has no views are nothing there. This place needs maintenance.

Desventajas: 1) Staff were unhelpful: I fell over just inside front entrance on arrival (it was the edge of the wheelchair ramp which was the same colour as floor so hard to see). The man on reception just looked at me and didn’t even ask if I was okay when we checked in (massive bruise on my knee but no sprains or breaks thankfully). When we asked for a drop of milk the following night the response from another staff member was just ‘no’ even though they have a breakfast bar in the morning. 2) I selected a double bed on my booking. When we pulled back the top quilt there were 2 singles pushed together, made up separately, a hard ridge around the edges of both mattresses and a big gap between them...so a romantic city break was seriously impaired! 3) There was an unplugged fridge inside the wardrobe. To plug it in (so we could buy milk and keep it cold) we managed to locate the plug and socket behind the built in drawer unit and work out how to take the drawers out to access it! 4) There was a strong smell of sewage on the ground floor seating area and where breakfast was served (although thankfully I’d booked room only!)

Desventajas: There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and nowhere within the hotel to purchase any kind of drink. there was a small fridge in the room but we paid a premium price to buy a bottle of water from the reception desk. We had to change roms after 2 nights as there was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom. On the day of our departure we used some toilets on the ground floor and the same bad smell was in this area.
