Regular type of hotel with simple amenities . Too pricy for a simple looking hotel Overpriced
Great and friendly staff. Room was awesome. Location was close to everything (airport and Angkor Wat were about 20-30 minutes away from car/tuk tuk). Pool was quiet and serene. Laundry service was great as well. Overall excellent stay and would stay there again.
We just returned from a week stay at the Khmer Mansion Hotel and can not fully express the extent of our satisfaction. Staff is very friendly and helpful. By the end of our first day I think the entire staff had approached us individually to introduce themselves. The remainder of our stay we were greeted by name and asked if we required anything more.It was not unusual for the chef to come out of the kitchen and asked if we were satisfied with our meal, which we always were. I have never experienced this level of service before and have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap.. Noise from bar next door could be heard at night in the open hallway but was not a problem in our room.
The staff was super friendly and sincerely concerned about our stay. Every time we saw any member of the staff, they were asking about our room, our sleep, our food, everything. And every time we returned to the hotel, they greeted us with a glass of cold water and asked about our day and the places we visited. The hotel felt new and clean, the room was nice, and the location was very convenient and easy to navigate to from Pub Street. We would definitely come back! Some construction going on next door; not really a big deal for us, and the hotel can't avoid it. Also the loud club music next door, but it ended around 10pm. At 10pm you should still be out enjoying the nightlife yourself, or at least getting a last-minute massage. The staff actually told about both of these issues when we checked in, and apologized for the inconvenience.
staff were friendly. breakfast good. room was very spacious. Whirlpool tub in room was fun. Pool area is lovely. The staff were very nice but had very limited English so that was difficult to get advice, directions, etc. The really bad thing was no light at front doorway the morning I was leaving at 5 am to go watch sunset at Angkor Wat. Staff gave me wake up call then went back to sleep on bench in lobby. When I walked out front hotel door, I tripped on uneven paving stones (no light so pitch black) and twisted my ankle. The rest of the day my walking was very limited. Manager was apologetic when I finally found in later in the day, but the damage was done and I still have a sore ankle. Keycard controlled electricity in room so frig went off during the day, so was useless. very hot in Siem Reap and blanket was too warm. By 3rd night I thought to ask for extra sheet to cover with instead of blanket.
The room was fantastic. Large, spacious, and clean. Hardwood floors and stone showers and fixtures, simple but elegant. The staff was very helpful, and there was a pool (that I did not use). The placement was good, a short walk from the busiest parts of town. In an ideal world, it would have more facilities. But that would really be asking too much given the price.
Terrific over accommodating staff, all fluent in English, beautiful pool, complimentary sizable good breakfast, good wifi and AC, nice location about 5 minute walk removed from the craziness of Pub Street. Fantastic place! The power went off a few times but was back up, probably due to a generator, soon thereafter, but it's Cambodia, so that could have happened anywhere. Wish the keys were electronic.
I felt like visiting a Disneyland entertainment park. Never before I had the opportunity to have a room with fountain (in Angkor Wat style) and small like with bridge to the shower! Really funny idea. The pool on the upper floor was very tidy and invited for relaxing after a hard day as adventurerer.
Very good location and marvelous interior design There was no elevator and we stayed on the 3nd (top) floor!!
Very well located, very kind and helpful staff, nice pool and relaxing atmosphere, large rooms great facilities (cable TV and free internet). Everything is around the corner (market, main restaurant street, etc.).
Tremendous room design, lovely swimming pool on a roof -
The interior decoration is impressive. I felt like a princess coming home after the long days at the Angkor temples. Very good breakfast with home-made pineapple jam and delicious honey; good bread for the first time in weeks; central location. The internet connection was slow. Considering the price and style of the hotel, a hair dryer might be provided.
