Great location, friendly staff and great rooms! My disabled father stayed in room 111 and my fiancé and I stayed opposite in room 110. Both rooms were clean, spacious and had a fridge, coffee maker, chair, desk and chair, and a very big comfy bed.
It was clean. No elevator or luggage trolley. We were travelling across Canada and had a lot of luggage to move and had to make several trips up to the room with some very heavy stuff!
Nice compact hotel with nicely appointed features in room.Centrally located.Frig and microwave in room. Breakfast also included in stay with good assortment of hot and cold items changing day to day. Easy access through smaller lobby area style entrance. Found that our room lacking in some up housekeeping items with No toilet paper on check in and wet towels left behind on another day along with no cups.
this was not a 3 star hotel. It was located in the industrial area of Thunderbay. Rooms were very outdated. It was at the very best a 2 star. Beds were basic. Would not recommend to others and change to a 2 star or less. Disappointed Nothing
Old style homey feeling with table runners, fake flowers. Lowest price with the higher stars out of the 2 to choose from. It had a Microwave, TV, bed, full bathroom, coded door key pad, table. Good for an overnight stay. Enough towels for 2 people. I booked a queen bed and was 'upgraded' to 2 double beds with a divider wall. The bed outside the living area had 2 lights into a power bar to an extension cord & didn't plug in to anything. Fridge was wet inside, unsure if it worked.
Staff was friendly, helpful. The location was very inconvenient and in what looked to be a somewhat rough part of town. The traffic noise was loud. An over-powering air freshener made the room difficult to breath in.
It was a hole. It was run by a hole. On the whole, it was not a good experience. It was not clean. It was not comfortable. The wi-fi was a joke. I'm not picky, but this was way beyond bad.
When I looked on the map to see that the hotel was near a railroad track, I was hesitant (thinking there may be a lot of train noise). But, there was no problem. I never heard a train. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. The rooms are a little old, and not extremely clean. However, I would not say that it is a dilapidated or dirty motel. Just a bit aged. Easy to overlook for the affordable price.
Nothing No air conditioner as advertised
It was a small clean room, with a/c, a fridge, flat screen tv. Price was far better than anything else in Thunder Bay. Surprised that it was a couple of rooms in a residential neighbourhood.
Okay.. The guy running it is quite nice. The rooms have thin walls as I could hear the occupants beside me. I needed to crash on my way back to Toronto for the night and it served that purpose well. Thin walls.. could hear some guy talking in the room beside me. Maybe a long term tenant?
