Staff was very helpful and friendly. We left something behind and they mailed it back to us immediately. Rooms are part of historic building. Great feeling of old Santa Fe. Breakfast very good with tamales and green chili stew.
Pueblo Bonito is a gem. Each room is individually beautiful, the buildings are original adobe dating back to to the 1880s. The free breakfast spread includes handmade tamales and family recipe green chile stew. Artifacts and trinkets all over the property, as well as a rich history. Have a conversation with Strelsa if she's around; what an amazing human. One note: the beds are not terribly comfortable, and if you stay in the winter, beware it may be very cold, even indoors. The in-room kiva fireplace helps, but bring layers and warm socks regardless!
Had to walk down the hall to use the bathroom.
The hotel and rooms are lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The included breakfasts are fantastic, best hotel breakfasts. It is weird that there are no TVs in the rooms. I'd prefer to choose NOT to turn on a TV than to NOT have the choice. Also my king bed was 2 twins held together with a pad down the middle. Extremely uncomfortable --they moved me to a queen. Much better!
Lovely ambience. Fantastic, healthy breakfasts. Within walking distance of the plaza. nope
Location and staff were great. Sue the owner was genuinely very friendly. Very good all-around experience. No
The breakfast room was so sweet and the breakfast was delicous. Loved the fireplace in the room! Nothing
The owner was great! Very informative/helpful, and truly cares about your experience there. Quaint & quiet space & location, yet so close to downtown. We will be back :-) Being slightly picky here... We upgraded to a room with a fireplace, thinking it would be a larger space. It was 'slightly' cramped but, still very good value.
I liked the attention to detail, the fresh flowers, character of the rooms, the coziness, the breakfast and outdoor seating area. Really loved being a short walk from the plaza and free parking. The lights from the parking lot next door were very unfortunate and took away from the romantic outside patio area. However friendly, clean and comfortable, this hotel was very pricey for us.
For a larger B&B, the homey comfort was still there, with plenty of quiet comfort, and excellent breakfast, PLUS a great knowledge of Santa Fe.
Fun small labyrinth just next to the city center. Nobody at reception 5pm... just a phone number and a annoyed man on the phone... got a feeling that sorry for disturbing
We thought that everyone including the patrons were very friendly. The location was great for getting to every place in the Santa Fe area. My husband thought that the bed was too high but otherwise, the room was great.
The hosts were wonderful; engaging and personable. They stuck around during breakfast and cocktail hour and had great personal interaction with their guests, calling us by name and being very helpful with suggestions and advice. The room we stayed in needed a little help; the pocket door to the bathroom stuck badly and needed repair, as did some of the windows which, when opened, ran off their track. There was also some apparent water damage on the wall and floor of one corner.
Perfect location betw. Historic District and Railyard Dist. Very accommodating staff. The room (whose door opens to the outside) locked with a physical key that could easily be duplicated. We had no problems during our stay, but security seemed like a possible concern.
Great location; walking distance to the plaza, restaurants, galleries; very friendly staff; decent continental breakfast Biggest issue is the overall quality of the facilities----the place could stand some serious renovation, worn carpet, uneven heating, exterior painting. Also, the cable TV package gives new meaning to "basic" although we only watch at night.
Very friendly staff. Concierge offered us an umbrella when it looked like it would rain and gave us great recommendations for things to see around town. Our room had a beautiful beamed ceiling and skylights that let in the perfect amount of light. Very close walk into town. I wish we had asked for a stopper to the tub as a bath after our hike would have been nice.
There was a nice breakfast of the usual: muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, and english muffins. I liked that I could walk to the plaza. I also liked that there were city buses to take to downtown. Great indian restaurant on same block. Other good restaurants nearby. I liked my room with the outside patio, lovely viga beams in the ceiling, refirgerator and microwave. The light fixture over the sink was never repaired within the 3 nights I was there. Used a table lamp in bathroom. Not great lighting. Maid service a little lackadasical.
Charming, well-appointed, spacious room with patio. Excellent location.
