Ventajas: The Hotel Principe Di Savoia was probably the very best hotel and most beautiful property I have ever stayed in my lifetime in every way. The staff was outstanding, the room and bathroom were magnificent, as was the entire hotel. The restaurant food was so creative and excellent that we dined there our last 2 nights. The staff in the restaurant was also so professional and attentive. The fitness center was perfect, and the rooftop garden of flowers were a beauty to behold. It overlooked the old historical buildings that it was shockingly jaw dropping. Every staff member was helpful and pleasant in the service of guests. A beautiful ending to our Italian trip. Ventajas: The rooms (we had 3 rooms) were clean, modern and spacious. The location was excellent and within walking distance of the places we wanted to see, i.e. the Duomo, La Scala and Galleria. I would highly recommend your property to my friends. Your staff assisted us in securing transportation to Lake Cuomo. The driver arrived on time and got us to Lake Cuomo without any issues. Your buffet breakfast was also excellent.

Desventajas: No había personal estacionado en el viaje; tuvimos que buscar un botones cada vez que intentábamos usar el servicio de aparcacoches. También cenamos en STK y en la azotea para el brunch y el servicio en ambos era muy lento.

Desventajas: Well , if you wake up late missing your dinner reservation @ 10:30 pm, all you can eat is cold food. Although the staff was super nice to me post that incident sent me complementary champagne , booked for me in a Resturant that offers late dinner offered to pay the taxi, offered free breakfast , however the hotel policy needs major change , the previous day I had been driving for a continuous 11 hrs and arrived also at 11 pm and still couldn’t find a decent meal. Moral of the story , if you are in Milan and in that hotel .... eat early cause otherwise you won’t find something decent to eat. I do appreciate the friendly staff especially the concierge he worked hard to please me;however, I was so upset not to be able to get a late decent meal at the hotel . All in all , it was an experience, but next time I know what I will be looking for other than hotel facilities .

Desventajas: I asked for a quite room for my parents , and they got a room with windows where all conditioners and kitchen hoods are based ( do the window ) so they couldn’t sleep with open windows because of the noice of the machines ! That’s was the reason why they even wanted to leave earlier . And the hotel didn’t have free rooms to exchange

Ventajas: It was super close to Milano Centrale, very easy to find! Communication from the hotel before arrival was very good. Staff was helpful, breakfast service staff very good.The continental breakfast buffet was also very good.Bathroom was newly renovated and very clean. There is loads of newspapers to read, a tea & coffee area to use during the day.
Desventajas: There is some areas of the hotel that could do with a little renovation and love. I love the old-world feel of the hotel, just an update on wallpaper and fabrics.

Ventajas: El hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado, sobre todo si estás de paso. La estación de trenes está al lado, donde además hay metro para desplazarte fácilmente por la ciudad. El desayuno como ya he dicho estaba bien, a excepción del zumo. La habitación estaba muy bien y la cama supletoria, que era un sofá cama, era realmente cómoda para lo que suelen serlo. También se agradece la posibilidad de elegir diferentes aspectos de la habitación, como por ejemplo el tipo de almohadas, si las quieres extras, la temperatura al llegar o las bebidas que deseas en el minibar. El personal del hotel también fue muy amable tanto al llegar como al irnos. A uno o dos minutos del hotel andando se encuentra la Gelateria Terra. La encontramos de casualidad y los helados están realmente muy buenos.
Desventajas: El desayuno estaba bien, era variado y había posibilidad de pedir café en vez de tomar el de las máquinas de los desayunos, pero echamos en falta la posibilidad de hacer zumo de naranja natural ya que, sin embargo, sí la había para hacer zumo de zanahoria.

Ventajas: Short ride from Milan airport. Excellent Staff. Exceptionally clean hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Great shower. Online lobby pictures were a little deceptive, but was soon forgotten with all the other positives. Breakfast buffet has lots of choices including vegetarian. We had dinner at the hotel one night and found the food very good.
Desventajas: Two comfortable chairs in the room versus one comfortable chair and a desk chair. We arrived on the later side for breakfast and found most baskets empty, didn't feel we got our money's worth. The staff was willing to make us eggs, but that wasn't one of our food choices. Best to show up for breakfast on the early side.

Ventajas: The room was enormous, super comfortable and impeccably clean. The bathroom was amazing. The services offered by the hotel were great, the staff were wonderful. I enjoyed having a drink at the bar at the start or end of the night.
Desventajas: The property advertised airport transfers however it was just a taxi that reception booked for you. If you're looking to stay somewhere before flying out, look into the transfers offered or choose a location closer. My airport transfer cost €120!

Ventajas: Hotel staff willing to help with a variety of questions. Clean rooms. Soft pillows, with options to choose from. Breakfast isn’t bougie, but is simple for your needs. Thankfully they had boiled eggs! There is a gym although smaller than pictures, it works for burning a few calories. Great vibe for business users.
Desventajas: Location, whilst it does have great metro and tram links close by. By the end of the stay we didn’t venture back out at the night so we didn’t have to either walk, travel or spend money on a taxi. Lacked lobby/bar vibes for leisure guests. It was dead in the evenings and it does actually have a nice seating area outside. Missed opportunity? With breakfast it would be nice to have non processed bread as an option.

On the quieter nights we dined at the Echo we found the food and service to be of a high standard...

Ventajas: These are lovely apartments with everything you need. The staff are pleasant and helpful and there is 24hour reception. The best thing is the location right in the centre of Milan and very handy for the Duomo, shops and La Scala. Despite being in the centre it was very quiet. It is great to be able to make your own meals and drinks. The bed and seating are comfortable.

Desventajas: On my opinion, this is not a 5 star hotel. For a 4 star hotel, I would have got what I expected. The pillows are to big and uncomfortable. The rooms are small and f.ex no place to open a suitcase but on the beds. The service at the bar is terrible. We waited there and waited, and finally asked the reception if there was no one working there or if the bartender was taking a nap. This happened both when we were having a drink before dinner and also when we came home for a nightcap (both days), and I think this is not acceptable for 5 star hotel.

Ventajas: I didn't know these places still existed! This place cannot be beaten for what it is. Was welcomed at reception by multi-lingual young girl who could not be more obliging and helpful. Amazing - huge - place with all sorts of visitors from backpackers to older guests like me on a sightseeing trip. Very positive and very friendly vibe. Check out the roof terrace and eat as much as you can buffet in the evening [free!], chatting to other guests or just people watching. A very well run, professional hostel. I left my bags in a secure room as I checked in early and had no concerns about the level of security. Very clean bedrooms/ sheets and towels [I shared a room of 5 with bunk-bed set up]. 2 mins round the corner from Centrale station so perfect for arrival and departure from Malpensa. 45 mins to walk into the centre of the city.
Desventajas: Not a criticism - but this is a hostel and so you will be sharing a room with other guests and so everyone has to manage their privacy etc. But it works, everyone very respectful, chatting and doing their own thing.

Desventajas: The very loud and continuous music that changed between the bar, reception and garden area didnt cater for all taste it was very much geared to a young person. Perhaps it should say so in the hotel info. Made it impossible to sit an have a drink in the evening.

Desventajas: Loud music from bar or garden in weekend evenings, noise reaching bedroom. Personnel at reception less than understanding on first evening ('It is indicated on our website that there is music in the evening') but much more forthcoming the 2nd evening. Nevertheless, guests should not have to complain about it in first place. Be a hotel or be a music bar but do not try to be both. Also, the scowling woman to receive guests at entry breakfast restaurant seemed to wish she was somewhere else and had forgotten how to smile. In addition, our room also was not cleaned when we returned after our city exploration during the day (forgotten??) and we had to ask that it be cleaned.

Desventajas: The lobby washrooms were run down and the soap dispenser broken, the staff wasn’t very helpful with making a dinner reservation or reserving a table at the hotel restaurant - could only be done in person. The towel pegs were behind the washroom door - I only found them before checkout- a strange thing to hide.

Ventajas: We arrived exhausted from a long day that began in San Francisco. A quick walk from the train station, a warm welcome, a courtesy upgrade, an excellent salad bar buffet, super comfortable bed, and diverse breakfast buffet before wheeling over to the train station to continue our journey!

Ventajas: The service was very poor, check in and out seemed to take forever, no porter or help with bags, self serve carts available. again on check in and out you have to jostle with the door while the security just looks at you and to get assistance had to ask twice, you could tell he was not happy. Rooms are fine, modern and clean. The breakfast was also disappointing, so much on the last morning we elected to go outside and we were rewarded with some excellent choices all at less than half what we had paid for. Overall i would probably stay there again as the location for us was quite good, but forget any service!!!!

Ventajas: Hotel is in a fantastic location for Milan Central Train station. The hop on hop off bus also has a stop about 2min walk from the hotel. The soundproofing of the rooms is phenomenal! Beds super comfy and the bathroom, especially the shower, were superb. Would 100% recommend this hotel for your stay in Milan.
Desventajas: We had breakfast & dinner included in our stay. The hot food is luke warm at best and therefore very disappointing. The selection of food though was very good.

Desventajas: Our room was a good size - however there were renovations being done to the floor we were on and indeed still to our room - workmen’s toolbags etc left in the corridor overnight. The room was very dusty and the shower had not been sealed properly and leaked soaking the bathroom floor and despite telling the staff this and it apparently being fixed - nothing had been done therefore a soaking wet floor again. As we were only there for a couple of nights we made do - and advised them again on leaving about the issues.
