The paid Wi-Fi is fast. I am OK with paying a little extra for solid internet. The hotel has recently undergone renovation and is much cleaner than even a year ago. The new restaurant and bar on the first floor is fantastic.
Staff, outside seating, upbeat decor, engaging design. ATM too far off. No email receipt.
Clean, safe, and a very nice restaurant is what I liked. I also liked the clean fluffy towels and workout room. My suggestions would be to have bathrobes in the rooms. Also, I would've liked to see an extra blanket in the closet. At this time, the pool was closed for repairs. Parking was $10 a day.
Room was neat and clean. We had to pay $10 to self park but we were not told we would have to pay up front.
Liked the location. Restaurants. Room facilities.bathroom cleanliness. There was dust on tables so housekeeping staff not careful.
Location- service and cleanliness I don't understand why I can stay at a hotel 6 and have a microwave in my room but a hilton does not- So my biggest disappointment was not finding a microwave when I wanted to reheat a leftover meal-
I came with my service dog and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful! I will definitely be back!!
Location Hotel was not la Quinta quality. Room smelled of mold and we saw spiders on wall.
Booked a non-smoking room a month in advance but arrived at 11pm after a long day and were assigned to a room that wreaked of cigarette smoke...the hotel hallway also smelled like strong chemical cleaners masking smoke smells. After complaining, we were moved to the only room left...the handicap accessible room next to the lobby and elevator. There, we were subject to loud guests until about 2am, and could hear every word through the thin door and walls.
Room was remodeled and looked very nice. The tub was disgusting! The grout was nasty. The bathroom should have been remodeled with the room. I will not stay here again.
I loved the breakfast that was included and how clean we found the facilities. I feel as if the room should have cost 75 versus 100. Also the bed was really firm and I prefer a softer bed.
I was not satisfied with my stay at all. The rooms were small and tight as well as the bathrooms. It felt like I was at a motel. The rooms need to be remodeled as well as the bathrooms. Everything about the hotel is tight and to be located downtown, it should have looked better than it did.
this was the best hotel i have ever stayed at staff, rooms, area is the best in all of my experience
I knew my room hadn't been cleaned when I found money on the floor from previous guest. No towels in room. AC/Heat didn't work. No shampoo, coffee. Front desk unresponsive.
rooms are microscopic, bathrooms smaller. A/C didn't work in my room, it was 82 and I had to try to sleep with the windows open. Repeated requests for an engineer were never answered. The ''health room was a discrace. The equipment was so out of date it was downright dangerous. Would never stay here again
Clerk who checked us in was in great, cheery mood. Never had a better welcome at a hotel.
The parking facility for the hotel was always booked and I had to park across the street from the hotel during half of my visit. Mind you the main parking area is dismal and extremely confining so this was not a loss. The room I stayed in was pitiful and tiny for myself, my husband and two children. I made sure to stay outside as much as possible, so as not to remain in that tiny space.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Crown Plaza. We were disappointed as the rooms were very small and the noise level was unacceptable. If you stay here, ask for a room in the back of the hotel. Parking was valet only and costly but all other parking in the area runs about the same price. The air conditioner was very loud and went on and off all night. Between the noise outside and the air conditioner we did not sleep at all. The rooms were clean but again, very small. I used the Entertainment card and received 50% off the regular rate and I still feel that it was not worth the money we paid. On a positive note, we were able to walk around downtown Harrisburg and enjoy the restaurants, pubs, and sights.
I went there with my wife because I wanted to combine some business and pleasure. We had a very good attention from the staff at every moment of our stay. the location is perfect. The room was excellent for the taste of my wife for me, I just missed a more business touch. Considering all the aspects of my stay I would consider value for the money between good and excellent, would definitely stay there again if I need to find a hotel in Hershey
Hotel itself was clean, but they charge extra for everything and it's expensive. Not worth the money.
Discover all that downtown Harrisburg has to offer! You are at the heart of everything, including shopping, dining, entertainment and the arts. You are within easy walking distance of Restaurant Row, Harrisburg's Capitol Complex, the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts and the Susquehanna River's picturesque waterfront and the wonderful Hershey Park.
Big room for the low price, modern, clean, and very friendly staff! I will be back here!
Heater did not work in both rooms/TV remote did not work/Bathroom is small/Linens not cleaned/Room Service was horrible/Parking is VERY small/For a Crowne Plaza Hotel this was very disappointing
T.J. was great help. 24" of snow. They plowed the lot but cars where still stuck.
Everything we needed for a one night stay in a hotel with my 2 sons. Carlisle auto show by day and Savannah's on Hanna by night. See you next year! Nothing
The woman at the desk in the morning was quite helpful in helping us find our way back to the interstate highway and printing up directions on the computer. The breakfast was adequate but not great.
Staff was very professional not overly bothersome.
Clean room, personable staff, great breakfast setup and wonderful view of Susquehanna River.
We chose this location because it was close to Hershey park. We did the park for a day and like the amenities here for the following day, sadly Mother Nature didn't allow tuna to enjoy the outdoor area but the kids had fun in the indoor pool, arcade and game room. Would definitely recommend to others.
We liked the activities available to us to enjoy while we were there. The food was good. Didn't like the small bathroom and the thin mattress on the pull out sofa. The staff at the front desk were friendly and great but the staff in the restaurant in the morning were not friendly at all. The hostess walked you by the table and kept going without saying anything.
The hotel was close to a shopping center, so if you forgot to pack something you were in walking distance of the a shop to purchase what you needed. The best looking portion of the whole hotel was the pool area and the lobby. The rest of the hotel needed serious remodeling. The flooring was very outdated and became sticky and soggy if you didn't keep the A/C on at 65'ish degrees. The restrooms were incredibly small and outdated for the price. Any more than one person at a time in the restroom and you would be quickly overwhelmed with the lack of space.
Staff was VERY friendly and helpful Lots and lots of electrical plugs, which is very important when traveling with CPAP machine and multiple electronic devices Really good breakfast Good pool and workout room Moslty travel in the Midwest so not used to the east coast prices
Location with respect to Hershey Park and restaurants and accomoditions None.
room was clean and looked newer. would be nice for longer stays or people with strict diets since there is a functioning kitchen - fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher. breakfast didn't start on time - there were many people waiting to eat and get going for the day
Location, staff, breakfast, general facility We've stayed here at least 4 times but must have never had a room on the highway side. The noise of the trucks was very bothersome, woke me up quite a few times.
The whole experience was great. Staff was incredible and rooms were so comfortable. Tv channel selection but not enough to not give this place a 5 star.
The hotel room was exceptionally clean and the rooms amenities made my stay comfortable.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were big and pretty. The lobby was also beautiful.
The staff was friendly and helpful - the rooms were clean and had everything needed - no frills, but extremely adequate. The hall light in our room was not working which made it dark in the room.
The bed was really comfy ..which i could of taken it home with me No tea/coffee... fridge... microwave in the room also..if you did want tea coffee you had to go yo the reception to get it out of a flask which is no use ...as i love my tea ...also there was no breakfast ...even like cereal and fruit... heating could do with being replaced as it only comes on for about 20min then off for about an hour so it doesnt heat the room long enough as there was only single pane windows so it was quite cold during the night in Nov
Great breakfast setup and staff was very nice Pool open late until midnight Beds were the worst Non smoking room smelled like cigarette butts Below average room design
Complimentary breakfast & evening reception were nice
I enjoyed that it was located in an area where we could could easily go to many things. Restaurants and sight seeing were within minutes.
We had a wonderful time, the hotel is clean, well laid out and the staff is extremely friendly. We enjoyed breakfast and the location was perfect for our purposes. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Very nice facility...
Customer service at the front desk. excellent
We have stayed here for the past three years every time we take our Grand Nephew to the PA Farm Show. He is in first grade. This has a breakfast and pool that impresses the little man. And it is a comfortable place for this Aunt and Uncle to collapse after walking all day.
Nice rooms, great staff, convenient local. Never book a room on highway side !!!! Extremely loud and not restful after traveling all day. Otherwise better than average hotel.
Great customer service
