Beautiful place near the harbour. The hotel is located near the 101 road so too much traffic (continuous flow of cars and trucks going through). The place is definately too expensive for the location.
We wanted a to stay somewhere special for the last night of our holiday and we got exactly tht with this hotel. We booked a standard queen room but were fortunate to be upgraded to the Fireside Suite. This has a sitting room, king sized bedroom and two bathrooms, all beautifully decorated and with solid oak furniture. The hotel provides a luxury breakfast, complimentary bottle of champagne in the room, cheese & wine in reception early evening and milk and cookies at bedtime. A beautiful hotel and we'd happily stay there again - even without an upgrade. Nothing at all
It is a great comfortable place to stay. Bathroom could have been cleaner vents are very dirty need dusting and cleaning. Had a great time pool and spa are very nice and clean. Breakfast was good very relaxing and great location can walk pretty much everywhere. Bikes were nice too.
Super friendly staff, newly remodeled bathroom, wine & cheese hour, clean room, late check-out, free parking & Internet, spacious room - they gave us the largest room! Couldn't sleep well because of the street noise - cars, motorcycles, delivery trucks, garbage pick-up
Very cute little resort motel in very nice area of Santa Barbara.
They could not write the company name in invoice.
The ambiance of the entire facility Shower plumbing was not working properly slow drain. Was reported.
So much to love about this inn... Offers an old Santa Barbara charm-early 20th century design that has been well mainted. Staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable of the area (dining, wining, and local history). Continental breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese in the afternoon. Free beach cruiser bikes for use while staying and a vast selection of DVDs for viewing (also free). Complete with pool and hot tub (importantly hidden from street view. Just off the beach within easy waking distance to art, music, wine, food, Santa Barbara train station and fun (aka "the Funk Zone"). Loved our stay! Only suggestion is to include an updated cutting board for the kitchen. Original equipment is usually great but not in this particular case.
Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Great value. Free movies, free bicycles, and free parking. I wish we could've stayed longer.
Large room, comfortable beds Location near park with large amount of homeless people but close to the pier where we had dinner. We decided to drive, however, eventhough we could have walked due to the neighborhood. Continental breakfast was O.K.
Great place to stay. Nice rooms and lovely atmosphere Nothing at all
My newlywed husband and I got upgraded to a King Suite, it was perfect and in a great location!
This hotel was majorly over priced for what effectively is a motel.Thay did try hard to add bits to make it a hotel but failed miserabley.its also close to a park thats full of homeless The room smelled funny
I loved the free bikes for rent, great touch
Quiet, friendly staff, great accommodations, great Food. Heater too noisy. But that ok. Dealt with it by turning it off and bundling up.
Enjoyed the vintage charm and ambiance. Beautiful and relaxing with a very friendly staff. Cozy cottages. Beds were too squeaky and the slightly thin walls between your neighbors
Perfect match for grown-ups on State Street in Austin. Victorian, main house w/ reception & restaurant, rooms in separate buildings, but faithful, older victorian buildings. Tall rooms, updated baths. Slept in, so it must have been good.. I liked most everything.
Easy beach access and perfect for a romantic getaway! Friendly staff, location, and rates
Location Facility is dated.
Walking out of my room and seeing the beach just across Cabrillo was swell. It made it easy to watch the sun set.
Great location right infront of the beach. Close to restaurants, parks and the pier!
The location is very close to the watefront and a short cab ride from downtown The front desk staff was incredibly rude and the rooms are generally pretty crummy for the prices that you're paying. Everything in Santa Barbara is pretty pricey this time of year though.
Beach No air conditioning
I liked the proximity to East Beach where the Santa Barbara triathlon was held since I was a participant. The sliding glass door was heavy and needed to be oiled so it can slide open easier.
