The hotel was promoted as having excellent public transportation to the Ahoy Center. That was totally misleading. Bus service was poorly marked, infrequent and ended at 20 hours (for a jazz concert that ends at midnight). The hotel staff was totally unprepared to provide accurate and easy to follow information about public transportation to a major event. The afternoon food service was very poor, with little attention to customers and dirty dishes left on tables in the lounge for hours. In general the desk staff in the afternoon when we arrived were surly and unhelpful. The following morning, the staff was helpful and courteous.
It was close to my working place. Not easily accessible to do anything fun.
Convenient location (for private family reasons). Front desk staff. Small, dingy room. Lack of ventilation. Tiny TV. Plastic cups. Definitely not value for money.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi was an advantage, however it kept cutting out. Sky News, and BBC World English TV channels. Shops and supermarket only a short drive away, and a McDs right opposite. Free WiFi signal kept dropping. Nothing much in walking distance, so need a car there.

Excellent initial greeting and subsequent attendance. The only failing of the staff was at the first nights meal when our order was "lost" causing us to wait 40 minutes for our main course, and that only after asking. this was made up for on the following night with an excellent meal. Other than this minor failing there was VERY little to critcise My shoulders are two feet wide and an additional pillow would have been welcome, but not available
there was a smoking lounge that was good, also i had a smoking bedroom which i prefer. The hotel was convenient for where i was visiting and the parking was ideal the wireless internet did not let me e mail from outlook
Access to public transport (esp. metro) was limited.
