Clean, attractive Expensive with no real extras except WiFi. Parking was in a sketchy garage a block away for $1 or $18 valet. No coffee in the lobby and the coffee maker in our room was broken. No complimentary breakfast. For this price you can get a lot more elsewhere and in a safer location.
I loved the bathroom. Very clean place with friendly staff. The large lobby was a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink. Pillows were not very comfortable and the thermostat didn't cool the room down.
We were given a corner room on the top floor. It had all the amenities you could ask for. Luxurious but reasonably priced and right in the heart of the city. Parking was a little odd. You had to park a block away and then when we went to leave, the $1 we were told we would pay was only good until 5:30 am..must've missed the fine print somewhere. So it cost a few more dollars to get out of the lot, mostly just inconvenient.
Everything was wonderful. The room was charming and so was the hotel itself in general.Folks in Colorado Springs have it good, the hotel has a beautiful views and really cozy beds, friendly staff and great food & drinks.Wonderful in every way. We fell in love with the giant windows too. Can't wait to go back. The parking situation is no big deal it's less than a block away and a dollar after 4pm then it's just a dollar or two extra if you leave after 9:00am.If you don't like that then you should pony up for valet it's very inexpensive if you campers it to places in the French Quarter or something like that.
The bed was amazingly comfortable. There was no refrigerator in our room.
I liked the location and the hotel was very nice.I will stay there again if i go back. We were not able to get a king size bed. I guess there were not enough in the motel.
Staff was nice and polite. They offered us water and I warm cookie which was very appreciated in the cold weather. My husband wanted a room that was very quiet. It was definitely quiet and comfortable. They called the room to make sure that we are happy with it after we checked in. We did not require room service, so they left us a note saying that they would be available if we did need them. It felt like they really cared about the customer and you don't see that much anymore. I will definitely stay at the Doubletree again in the future. Thank you.
Great room, good price and delicious cookies at the desk.
The front desk was extremely friendly and very kind. Also our room and the service was wonderful. The fact that we were there for a helicopter ride and your website said the shuttle would take us to the airport and when we got there they said it was too far. Also the bar tender kept forgetting our drinks.
Great value. Nothing comes to mind.
We enjoyed the happy hour and the pool while we were here and liked the size and layout of our room. Check-in was easy as well without issues. We experienced a very uncomfortable security issue because of other adult guests while at the pool. The hotel was slow to react to our concerns and did not offer us any compensation. The safety of my children is paramount, so we will never stay here again.
Everything was great. Good value for the money. The coffee in the breakfast room is terrible. Clean the coffee pots!
The heater created a room full of smoke and set off the smoke alarm. When I called down to the front desk they said that happens every once in a while and didn't seem concerned. When we checked out (they did comp the room) we asked why it didn't trigger a master alarm in the office or front desk. They thought that it should have but didn't and asked the maintenance person to check it out. We left quickly.
Liked the location. It is near restaurants within walking distance. Room was very clean. I would stay here again. I was ill the day we arrived and tried to check in a little after 1PM (check in is 3PM), so I could lay down. I was told no rooms were available until 3PM and after so I had to wait. And when I did check in later, after getting up to my room received a call from front desk that my credit card had declined. To straighten out I had to call my credit card company which gave me the confirmation number for the room charge as my card had not declined.
Stayed in the 2 room suite which gave us the room we wanted. Thought it was weird there was no microwave in the suite though. The door separating the rooms was great. The king bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included...though not a huge spread the waffles were good. Didn't seem overly clean. Needs some TLC (fresh paint, updating, new furniture, etc). For $220/night figured we'd get a nicer place. Didn't like that there was no microwave in the room. Elevators took forever.
The process of checking in and out was very easy. The rooms were clean and orderly. The front desk staff members were fantastic! I couldn't find a laundry room, some of the staff workers in the restaurant were too vocal about their displeasure with what was going on while at work.
Facility needs to be updated.
Nothing The room we reserved and paid for was not ready when we got there and we didn't check in until about 4:30. Check in time was 3 pm, so they had plenty of time to get our room ready. They told us it would be another hour before the room would be ready. We had Valentines's dinner plans and needed to get ready so they offered us a different room and offered us a discount. The first room they put us in was literally right across from the elevator and was probably the smallest room I have ever seen. I went back down and they gave us a different room, further away from the elevator but not the corner room we paid for and front desk advised we would be compensated for the difference in rate. The next morning we went to go check out and asked for a receipt showing the difference in room rate and they had no knowledge of that happening and that they couldn't give us a receipt. They said because we booked through someone else instead of them, there was nothing they could do. They basically told us we were out of luck. I don't really care how I book the room, the service and expectation should be the same, especially from a four or five star hotel. We will never stay there again or recommend to anyone.
Room wasn't ready, bathtub was chipped and peeling. Holes in wash rags and towels. You have to pay for parking.
Location The cost. To much for to little.
Staff at the front desk welcoming, easy access to the city, comfortable beds and clean rooms. Check in time was too late, asked for earlier checkin, moved to a room with city view instead of mountain view, still billed the same. Coffee maker could not be plugged in from where it was in our room, took some toying with it to figure it out, then it over flowed one of our two cups.
Good location, friendly staff. Lot of history. 17 bucks a day to park, and they don't comp.
Service from staff was great. Facility needs a light reno or at least a more dedicated manager. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, caulking around the tub was discolored, the closet doors where heavy (think bulletproof) steel (why?), the lamp shades next to the bed where stained with countless dirty fingers (also missing a screw so the shade would just fall off if rattled to much) and the floors need to be shampoo'd. Look I understand this hotel's style is antique, but maintenance on old time-y looks goes a long way and whoever manages it for this particular hotel is dropping the ball. Service was great, but the prices where not. With the cost of the night, valet and breakfast the total bill for a single night will run you $200. Just not worth it for the small unkept rooms and overpriced amenities that should, honestly today, be included. I travel the the springs often and as much as I enjoy the ambiance and location of this hotel, I wont be wasting money here again.
This is a great hotel. The staff are friendly and helped us alot. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Only things I didn't like were the parking lot. There are a couple obstacles to climb over, and there Is no elevator.
Everything was fine. Some reviews said it wasn't very clean or the bathroom not good, but it was all pretty standard.
Staff was great after kayak.com/hotels.com screwed up my reservation My reservation was never made but kayak charged me.
Location Price Bad WIFI connection Uncleaned hallways Small breakfast area Small common space in lobby
Room was clean and beds were comfortable
Breakfast was good and fresh each day. All the rooms were supposed to have been remodeled by the time we got there. I guess they had been booked in the room we had so only half the hotel was finished. Was a bit disappointed, but the rooms were nice
El desayuno.. Era bueno. Las horas no es tan bueno.
Necesita más carros para el equipaje. Necesita algunas mejoras. Necesita un mejor desayuno con huevos, galletas y salsa y mejores salchichas
Me gustó el de los trabajadores es muy educado y capacitado El edificio era viejo y mostró
Breakfast choices changed and was not served the same thing every morning.
Your staff was excellent!!! Appreciated the computer room. Shuttle driver to airport was excellent.
Poor advance planning on the part of the management. Several major weekend events were being held in Colorado Springs while we were there, but no extra provisions were ordered, with the result that many items for the breakfast menu were depleted. Plus no maintenance staff was on duty to resolve a terrible odor in our bathroom sink.
Everything is good! Nothing.
Good location Seemed to be old. It was clean but compared to the other Hampton Inn's it needed to be updated.

This Hotel exceeded my expectations! We Had 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen! The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and quiet. I will stay at this Hotel every time I visit my son.
The front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. In the bathroom there was a dry, old dirty washcloth hanging on the shower rod. There were gummy candies under the mattress of the king size bed. After I left, I forgot my sons Nike shorts in the bathroom and when I called, they said they weren't there.

Fresh and clean the bathtub was very clean. I wish we could have spent more time there A little out of the way but not too bad
Plenty of room to spread out our belongings. Good breakfast choices. The entry is different. There is no canopy to park under and unload luggage. Parking is limited.
Mattresses, pillows, breakfast, rooms... perfect! Nothing!
Friendly staff, comfortable room Bit isolated from do I g options

Newly remodeled rooms with full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishes/cookware, dishwasher and electric stovetop. Room was very clean and staff was friendly. Not much in way of restaurants or store around the area but that is typical around the COS airport. Breakfast is minimal.
Staff was Super Friendly!! Will Definitely Be Staying Here Again!!
The room was nicely sized and very clean to include the kitchenette. The lobby, hallways, elevator an dining room were all kept very clean. My bathroom had a lot of peeling paint in the bag b room not a gool tbing to see for a room at almost ---a night.
