close to university reserved smoking room by mistake - it was nasty. They moved me to a non-smoking, which was significantly cleaner. There were some rough characters hanging out in the walkways outside the rooms. I felt uncomfortable.
the room is clean and Wi-Fi is provided. the location is good, convenient to TAMU and restaurant. I stay there for the weekend because the air condition at home is broken. The price is a bit high for the hotel like this kind, $100/night, though there is no sports event. During the second night, some drunk guys knock at the door and pee in front of the door. The safety of the hotel may not be that good
They were very accommodating. Expedia had noted we could get a roll away for $10/night. They didn't have roll away beds and changed our room accommodate us at no charge at check in. The place is older but the room was clean. Pretty much what I'd expect from an Econolodge. If you want a 4 start treatment, then you need to pay a 4 star price. This isn't that place, nor does it claim to be. The breakfast was horrible. But what do you expect at Econolodge.
