The only thing is US Consulate is walkable distance from the Hotel. I stayed at this hotel for my visa interview at US Consulate. The rest room was not clean the light was not working in the rest room. Unfriendly front desk staff. Waste of money to stay at this hotel.
Appreciated concierge pickup airport Not even close to our experience in Delhi last year.
-delicious breakfast -free airport shuttle -beautiful public areas
Whenever we come to chennai we stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly & helpful. It's comfortable. The food is good. So convenient to airport
Great location, lobby, breakfast, and some staff. The hotel needs to check if minibar has been used before or at least TRUST the guest. I had told the receptionist the minibar was not used, but he called me back again, delaying me, from the waiting car heading to the airport. A real letdown.
Reception staff to housekeeping all excellent Breakfast, room service & the new restaurant food excellent Best price, location, close by beach Nothing
Breakfast Cleanliness and staff professionalism. I was told that I would get free wifi and the hotel has a business center. The hotel didn't have both and I'd to pay to get wifi access.
Friendly & responsive staff. Spacious & clean rooms. Splendid Breakfast. WiFi connection was very limited. WiFi keeps disconnecting.
Nothing, I believe the Pride of Chennai is one of the worst Hotel of the World. Many things: 1. the rates, different to the Booking rates. 2. the staff, incompetent and uncollaborative. 3. the room, noisy and dirty. etc
Basic, tired, dank, shabby. Overpriced for what it was - even in pricey Chennai. Proximity to airport about the only . Wouldn't stay again.
The staff were amazing. The concierge was my personal Saint after fetching all kinds of things for me when I had NO IDEA how to get them in India -- SIM card, postage stamps, medicines, all done. All the staff had this same great attitude. The breakfast was also pretty extensive with five major buffet tables, mixed Indian and western foods. The food selection was great, but I think they could have kicked up the quality a little. Eating at the ITC Grand Chola blew Westin out the water no contest.
