As an alleged five-star hotel, The bed linens and ropes are OK for comfort. The size of the room is also decent. They have BBC, French channels. The breakfast is poor: small restaurant, lack of choices, too many people and the quality of food is far from anything five-star. I came back to my table with food only to find all other 3 chairs I wasn't using intact but the one I was sitting on just somehow vanished, gone. And the fork and knife and plates were still resting on the table. Haunting! I looked around and saw probably my chair being seated by a mid-age women in the alley, who was enjoying her food and chatting with her friends. The room was a smoking one. Hate smoky air. The View: window opens to the roofs of shabby building and the cramped city skyline in polluted smog. The design of the room is rather strange. The cleanliness could have been much improved on the carpet, the surface of the sofa, etc. to live up with the five star rating. The cheap pack of for-sale toiletries, bottled water of a new local brand, and box of Chinese tea should be removed to upgrade the taste. The TV is small, not high resolution, and cannot adjust in any direction, not to mention using your USB for your own movie. The tea bag and nestle instant coffee reminds me of a basic 3-star facility. Guests had better go through the full price list of every single item in the room, from bed head board to tea spoon. The completeness of the items you can or cannot see really frightens you to death of damaging the cheap setting. The location: the hotel hides itself in a crowded and dirty residential complex. Reaching there at night is a challenge of GPS. The check-in staff was a cold poker face. He set me aside waiting and dealt with some other guest behind me while being unclear of my booking, no explanation nor guilty feeling. Actually, on the twentieth something Floor, it shows it belongs to some service apartment company. Where am I? A real five star hotel or an average service apartment I find easily find at half the price on the Internet?
Convenient, friendly and efficient, Breakfast. Not really the western type as advertised. Breakfast restaurant could be cleaner too.
Good value for business The al a carte food in the restaurant was not good. Ordered snails and delivered shrimps on fruit. Ordered seafood fried rice and received fried rice with a little seafood withe a chicken joint thrown in!
It is near the East Railway Station and Metro Subway. Also near to PO Park Plaza which have several good restaurant to choose. Price was high during the Canton Fair.

Just the stay They charged us more than what we booked from booking.com. The staff was rude and we argued for 1 hour at cherckin. They blamed the rate change for 40USD increase which is impossible. Next morning we had to rediscuss with the manager and finally they agrees to lower it a little. But at checkout agin they made the same mistake.

That i wait 2 hours for check in Lie with price. I booked for 189 usd but pay 1480 CNY - 222 USD
It was a good location , the room was good and clean... The main problem is with the stuff there, they don't know english at all and they make a lot of mess up coz of this.They don't even know their own menu for room service and is very hard to comunicate with them.
Esta situado en pleno distrito financiero, perfecto para un viaje de negocios. El hotel esta fenomenal, buen servicio e instalaciones, aunque el personal habla poco ingles en general. Sin embargo esto es algo bastante comun en la China continental.
Lo que mas me ha gustado es el desayuno y el barrio donde se encuentra ubicado el hotel. La piscina cubierta no es climatizada, esta fria!, me cobraron adicional por ser dos camas de una plaza (twins), cuando en lapagina booking.com ofrece para 2 personas pero no aclara que cobran extra por 2 camas, una verguenza!
La habitación executive es una suite super amplia con un baño estupendo. El personal es amable y se esfuerza con el inglés, cosa aún dificil en China. El hotel es bastante nuevo y la ubicación en una de las áreas más modernas de Guangzhou. La restauración es muy deficiente, tanto en calidad como en el servicio.. El buffet desayuno debería incluir más opciones "occidentales" especialmente en período de Ferias cuando los clientes extranjeros somos mayoría.. No hay fruta fresca, los zumos son artificiales y de mala calidad y la única opción de quesos son "tranchetes" con envoltorio incluido.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was very clean and luxurious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are here for the Canton Fair, which we were, there is a free shuttle bus which was very convenient and is wasn't too far away. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the beds were hard as a rock. They certainly need some improvement there. The hallway had an unpleasant, sour odor to it the entire time we were there. You could only smell it when you walked to your room. I'm not sure if it was just our hallway or all of them. The dinner buffet was seafood every night and in my opinion, was not very good at all. We only tried it once and did not go back. However, I am from the Florida gulf coast and accustomed to fresh, Florida seafood.

Mi estadia en Ramada Plaza Guangzhou fue excelnte, el personal es muy servicial y atentoa tus necesidades, todo muy bien, el spa es espectacular, como sugerencia me gustaria que necesitamos personal que hable espanol ya que fue un poco complicado comunicarnos debido a mi poco ingles y desconozco el mandarin. Tuve una experiencia desagradable ya que por mi descuido deje mi maleta de mano en un taxi que por casualidad tome en el hotel, al percatarme notifique de inmediato al hotel y me pidieron datos de la hora que habia abordado el taxi y por medio de las camaras de seguridad, lograron ver la placa del vehiculo y su compania, a la cual llamaron, localizaron el numero de telefono celular del taxista y me llamaron a informarmelo. En 20 minutos el taxista retorno al sitio que me habia dejado y recoji mi maleta perdida. Fue grandioso y de pelicula la experiencia, recupere mis documentos gracias al Hotel Plaza Guangzhou.
Tamaño del cuarto muy bueno. Comida my cara en relacion al precio, el personal tiene problemas con el idioma ingles.Para ser un Hotel de 5 estrellas deberian debe mejorara esto.
