Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel

We spent a week in Christmas time at this hotel in Tallin and can tell you that location is perfect. Just in the center of old town and a short walks to every place to visit, restaurant, shops and even a 24 hours minimart. Unfortunately there are few issue that wouldn’t make me to choose again this hotel. Room was very tiny that we could barely move around the bed once the two suitcases where positioned open on the floor. The matrimonial bed is just two small beds near each other with single blankets. Those beds are so uncomfortable that we never slept more than few hours in a raw. I had to ask for extra pillows as they are so small and fluffy. During the seven days we where there they came four times to “clean” the room but every time the only things they did is making the beds, that’s it. Not cleaning at all, not even the bathroom. One time they didn’t even change towels we had left on the floor (as their instructions). There is carpet on the floor and was dirty, full of airs and dust. On the good side is the breakfast. It served buffet style; abundant and varied with many sweet and savory choices. The staff are friendly but they don't go beyond the simple smile. if you need info or help you are in your own
