Ventajas: Everything was amazing.. quiet and peaceful.

Desventajas: Most shops shut and not many souvenir shops

Ventajas: Great location. Good access to the beach. Good localisation to the rest of the town and boulevard. Friendly personnel in the restaurant area. Great view.

Desventajas: Breakfast scores 1/10. Not worth 4 star, omelette is made out of a package and not fresh biologic eggs. Coffee from a cheap machine mixed with added sugars. Bread and pastries were not edible for me. The mattress of the bed is cheap and hard. Like I said this is hotel is not worth 4 star, more like 3 star in accordance with the European standard.

Ventajas: Hotel by the sea front, with a wonderful balcony. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also great. 65" LCD TV was a good surprise. Champagne in the room because it was part of the honeymoon stay. The restaurant was good not so much because of the quantity but more because of the quality.

Desventajas: The swimming pool was not so big but who really cares when you have a marvelous beach with clean waters in front of you.

Ventajas: Hotel con encanto a pié de playa, limpio, cómodo, personal muy amable. Comida muy rica. Volveríamos a alojarnos allí.

Ventajas: El desayuno muy bueno, en las cenas tienen comida muy saludable. Las camas muy cómodas, habitación enorme. Vistas maravillosas desde habitación. Personal muy amable. Muy bien ubicado

Desventajas: El café es horroroso

Ventajas: Buen desayuno con mucha variedad. Las habitaciones son espaciosas. ¡el personal es muy amable, especialmente Pedro!

Desventajas: No hay nada que ver con el hotel en sí, pero Portimão está deteriorado y dilapidado. Este hotel es uno de los mejores del paseo marítimo.

Ventajas: Hay muchas opciones para el desayuno. Hay muchos restaurantes en la zona. ¡cerca de la playa!

Desventajas: La única queja es que teníamos una habitación con vistas al mar, pero había una enorme pantalla de video justo al otro lado de la calle que tocaba las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana. Si tienes una habitación con vistas al mar pide estar en un piso más alto que 3!

Ventajas: Everything the only minor daily was the rough toilet paper on the lower floor. But hey who cares anyway. Didn't want to leave this morning. We will be back for sure.

Desventajas: This is really a genuinely Great Choice Hotel in Portimao. There was no faulting in the stay at all. The rooms are spacious. The grand beds are totally luxurious . The Room maids are so happy and lovely. The reception staff couldn't be more polite and helpful ,they are true professionals. The Bar and waiting staff are very attentive and again know their jobs oh so well. The frozen Margaritas are great . Now the Chef's in the kitchen are brilliant with the large choice of such superb quality goods. It couldn't of been any better and far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed half board and it turned out to be great value for money. Finally may I commend the Management because it was my true experience getting to know the staff that they are very committed to the highest level of service with a smile on their face at all times. And this is a true reflection of a Happy and we'll balanced Management who care for their staff. And the staff really were genuine and a true reflection of the Portuguese people. Don't just trust my word , go and endulge in the delights that this fine hotel resort is and enjoy the moment . Thanks to all the Top Notch Staff who really make this Hotel stand out amongst the others.

Desventajas: Que un hotel no te permitá tomar un cafe o un sandwich en la cafeteria a partir de las 18,30h porque quieren que tomes el buffet. Creo que no es legal que cada mañana en el desayuno dejen la lista de todos los clientes en el mostrador, sola y a la vista de todos.

Ventajas: Nos gustó todo, la ubicación, las instalaciones, el personal, el desayuno, en fin, todo es todo

Ventajas: Very good hotel, excellent breakfast buffet which offered different fresh juices, eggs, pancakes, fruits. Room very clean!!! The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walking distance from city center. Also available is shuttle service to Praia da Rocha. Very good location for exploring Algarve. Car garage costs us 6 EUR/day. I recommend this hotel.

Desventajas: A bit of noise during the night, since the marina view rooms are very close to a very busy road.

Desventajas: Algo que no se puede cambiar, la ubicación, que está un poco aislado. Pero bueno, se comunica bien con el resto de lugares.

Desventajas: Que tuviese que pagar por el spa, habia cosas que les dije no iba a hacer uso, sauna, baño turco, por problemas de tensión baja. Me tienen retenida la cantidad de 89 euros y me la devolveran en una semana. Soy de España, si tengo problemas he de llamar al hotel, muy mal¡¡¡¡¡

Ventajas: El desayuno genial, de todo y mucha cantidad.

Desventajas: al hacer la reserva por booking.com, la página web indicaba que el precio para la habitación era de dos personas. sin embargo al realizar el check-in, me dijeron en recepción que solo había reservado para una persona, por lo que tuve que pagar 42 euros adicionales. muy decepcionado con esto. todo el viaje genial, excepto esto. en la página web booking.com destacan la oferta tal y como a ellos les interesa y cuando llegas al hotel te encuentras con este tipo de problemas y costes adicionales que no esperaba. una lástima, porque volvería a repetir encantado.

Ventajas: Its equidistant between the beach and the old town center.

Desventajas: Breakfast was good , no complaints. A top class restaurant for evening meals would be desirable.

Ventajas: Location is great, with good views and convienence of being between two towns within easy walking distance. Delux rooms offer best views.

Desventajas: Room cleaning was always very late in the day, which meant being disturbed by staff having retired to the room having been out all day. It is a very minor thing bit quite disruptive when trying to rest/relax.

Ventajas: The hotel made for a very central location for our purpose of getting out into the Algarve area. Although we had our own transport! There was a good public transport system in the area. We were very pleased with the staff From reception to restaurant and general staff.

Desventajas: Personally there wasn’t any thing we could think of.

Ventajas: La zona de piscina es magnífica!! Y las habitaciones muy amplias, tienen incluso una pequeña cocina americana

Desventajas: Lo más incómodo es andar desde la habitación hasta la zona de piscina y restaurante, el paseo es muy agradable y tardas unos 10 minutos pero cuando lo recorres varias veces al día resulta algo pesado. Aún así diré que hay un carrito que puedes solicitar pero con tanta gente esperando al final prefieres ir andando.

Ventajas: La ubicación, la atención del personal de recepción y el precio.

Ventajas: Location was great. Lovely walks through the marina and beach. No lifts though, so if mobility a problem ask for ground floor. They upgraded for grandparents to have a ground floor which was great. Rooms where clean and house keeping was wonderful everyday.

Desventajas: Beware of movie Channels as they charge $10E per movie even if you just click into it. Grandfather was not aware and got charged for three unwatched movies.

Ventajas: La ubicación. Muy agradable estar rodeados de la marina llena de barcos. Buenas vistas. La atención del personal sobre todo una chica de recepción que además de tratarnos muy bien junto a su compañero día que llegamos, tuvo un detalle muy bonito conmigo.

Desventajas: Es un hotel más para el verano. Lo que no me gustó es tener que salir al exterior para cenar o desayunar. Hacia muy mal tiempo. Al hotel le hacen falta algunos arreglos

Ventajas: El servicio de traslado que hay dentro del hotel por las distancias tan largas entre habitaciones y el rstaurante

Ventajas: Los detalles que Tivoli tiene con sus clientes son realmente E x q u i s i t o. Es un lugar tranquilo, bonito, distante poco tanto. de Faro como de, por poner un ejemplo, Cabo de San Vicente. Su personal (todo su personal) son capaces con su profesionalidad de hacer entrañable la estancia. Y sus instalaciones son elegantemente sencillas. Muchas gracias a Tivoli Marina Portimão por haber hecho de lo esperado una realidad.

Desventajas: Poor breakfast, coffee was awful, far away from the beach, uncomfortable beds and pillows.

Ventajas: Si hace años siempre que tengo oportunidad de ir a Portimão me hospedo en éste Hotel es sólo porque las personas que hacen posible la tranquilidad y comodidad que yo busco al viajar saben conseguirla, ya que todos, absolutamente todos, son excelentes profesionales. Gracias.

Ventajas: The view from our balcony was great, the size of the room exceeded our expectations, the facilities were very modern, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very complete and varied (our favourite things were the omelette station and the nespresso machine!). We were on our honeymoon and the hotel surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine and some strawberries with chocolate, which was a lovely gesture.

Desventajas: Even though the hotel was quiet in general, we could hear the people in the room next to us. This hotel would be absolutely perfect if it wasn't for this

Ventajas: Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y limpias. El resto de las instalaciones están muy bien. Además al estar en mitad de un campo de golf hay mucho silencio y tranquilidad. Desayuno bueno y variado.

Desventajas: Todo está bien. Si hay que poner un pero es que está un poco alejado del centro, pero eso ya lo sabía cuando reservamos. Si no tienes coche este hotel no es para ti. Si tu prioridad es un sitio para descansar y tranquilo este es tu hotel.

Ventajas: Had a short stay it was nice easy to access.

Ventajas: Out in the countryside so very peaceful. Excellent room, shower, food at dinner, breakfast, parking! Bed and pillows best of any hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Staff very friendly and helpful- nothing too much trouble for them.

Desventajas: Lacking amenities,place was full but no entertainment,refreshments were very expensive...golf reception were not very helpful.only one bar open at a time and very busy . Golf good but organisation poor ,ladies dont dring heels due to uneven paths and cobbles.

Ventajas: The staff were brilliant. We arrived late and the guy treated us with the right mix of being friendly without keeping us up longer than necessary. It set the tone for the week, everyone was great, breakfast was good, and a good spot as it was a little quieter than being nearer portimao main town.

Desventajas: Nothing!

Ventajas: Todo muy limpio y tranquilo. El desayuno estaba muy bueno y era variado. Está a 5 minutos andando de la playa. La habitación superó nuestras expectativas.

Ventajas: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. There are pleasant terraces to sit and read and drink wine in the evenings! It’s only a few minutes walk to some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, and there are plenty of local restaurants. Also the tourist hop-on hop-off bus stops close by which is a very useful way to get about the area - this is how I discovered Alvor, which is really worth a visit. It’s a charming, quiet place, perfect for total relaxation.

Desventajas: Everything was great!

Ventajas: Me encantó todo en general pero nos costó mucho encontrarlo pues aunque estábamos al lado no está bien anunciado .le falta un buen letrero iluminado y no parecía la entrada del hotel.Nos guiaron unos huéspedes que salían y les pasó lo mismo. Por otro lado la playa está muy cerca y no hay escaleras para llegar ,está llana.No olvidemos que es el Algarve...una gran ventaja.

Ventajas: el desayuno estaba bien un poco de todo , menos el cafe que era horroroso lo demas bastante variado y repinian rapido, con opción de poder desayunar en la piscina

Desventajas: me toco una habitación en la parte antigua del hotel, la habitación en si estaba bien y muy limpia, los muebles antiguos pero a mi me gustan con unos cabezales de cama muy bonitos, trabajados de madera. el lavabo con bañera pero el agua era muy dificil de graduar o te quemabas o salia muy fria, la situación muy cerca de la playa y de un paseo con mucho ambiente pero en el hotel tranquilidad total, si volvería a este hotel. la parte nueva esta toda reformada y supongo que no tienen este problema.

Ventajas: Room and bathroom clean and new. Good breakfast. Amable staff.

Desventajas: Actually the only reason that I've booked the room and in particular this hotel was the "sea view" in the description. I have to say that the hotel is not on the beach, you don't see the ocean from the rooms or the hall. If you want to go to the beach is 10 minutes walking, but the streets you have to do are not so nice.

Ventajas: One of my best tour in europe , is Portimao. The 3 days stay at sao roque, was amazing . I would like to thank Isabella for her friendly behavior (who was in the front desk as well as handling all the situations). The staffs were very friendly and supportive and i came to know some of the best beaches of portimao from them. Benagil tour is also possible from portimao by boat. They welcomed us with a free drinks . The room has enough space and clean. breakfast was good. Definitely recommendable. Thanks Madhuparna & Goutam

Ventajas: Very pleasant place to stay at. Staff is exceptionally kind and informative. We came after the midnight and we are offered with a welcome drink, which is a small but very effective gesture. Hotel is older, but very clean. They clean room and change towels every day. Wi-fi works well. Hotel is placed in the quiet neighborhood, on the walking distance from beach and city center. There is a supermarket near hotel too. If you have moderate expectations, this place will be great for you.

Ventajas: Friendly hosts, good location quite near to the Praia da Rocha and bus stops. They serve nice and cheap breakfast. The rooms are almost fully equipped. The hosts are very helpful and fulfill every wish.

Desventajas: High stairs without elevator. There is no fridge in the rooms.

Ventajas: Very simple and a very good value. Very quiet!

Desventajas: A bit old.

Ventajas: Pensión correcta. Servicio y personal muy amable. Buen desayuno. Ubicación entre el centro (20 min andando) y la playa.

Desventajas: Precio caro para pensión, hostal muy básico.

Ventajas: + really nice and helpful host + comfortable bed + breakfast for 2 € (it's simple stuff but you won't even get it cheaper in the supermarket)

Desventajas: - it was quite loud there so I had troubles falling asleep - the bathroom isn't very appealing

Desventajas: A little bit unusual thing for me with, something like, common showers that do not have doors. Though, there is one private.

Ventajas: Location was pretty good, close to the bus station from where you can get a bus to the beaches from the south of Portimao. Train station even closer, which is good if you come by train. Place is clean and has 2 bathrooms, we had the 2 beds room with balcony. Kitchen available if you want to eat in, with all amenities included. A/c was good and we had two small lockers for our stuff. Was not crowded when we were there so we didn't feel that we were in a hostel. Around it there are lots of small shops for souvenirs/clothes/farmacy/groceries/minimarkets/restaurants and walking distance to the mall (about 10-15min).

Ventajas: Ubicacion, la limpieza, empleados amables, azotea amueblada, cocina, informacion sobre el pueblo, alquiler de bici, aire acondicionado

Desventajas: Ningun gancho o percha para ropa y ninguna papelera en la habitacion, no lavabo, ruidos de la calle

Ventajas: Buena ubicación, céntrico.

Desventajas: La habitación que nos dieron tenía una ventana aparentemente tapiada que conectaba con la cocina. Olía muchísimo a comida cuando llegamos y se oía todo lo que los otros huéspedes hacían allí. A las 5:00 de la madrugada había gente cocinando y hablando fuerte, porque el horario de cocina no tiene límitaciones. La recepcionista no hablaba ningún otro idioma que el portugués. El baño estaba muy usado y el grifo del agua no funcionaba bien, salía con muy poca presión. Muy desagradable todo, la verdad.

Ventajas: Precio, situación, limpieza.

Desventajas: No había armarios en la habitación para colgar la ropa, ni TV, la ducha no tiene mampara y se llena todo de agua cuando alguien se ducha.

Desventajas: Hay detalles mejorables, pero por el precio creo q está muy bien

Ventajas: Very well located, just in front of the beach; Perfect for some vacations with small children because beach and pool are perfect to entertain them. If this is not enough, there is also a small park for them to play;

Desventajas: Buildings are a bit old and an overall remake of the apartments would be advised; Even though cooking is possible, if you want to eat out, there are some restaurants nearby but a wider variety would require some sort of transportation;

Ventajas: Very Clean place. Inside pool very good condition.

Desventajas: The pilow was too soft and unconfortable to me, and I am sure it would be changed in case we complained, but as it was only 1 night stand I didn't. It was quite noisy early in the morning, I believe this is because the bedroom was on the ground floor, facing the main road.

Ventajas: I liked the location of the property. Beyond that there was little to like.

Desventajas: This aparthotel needs to have a major renovation. It’s at least 25 years overdue. The inside of the room was not only severely dated, it was dirty and uncomfortable. The master bed mattress was so thin and barren that I got poked with springs all night long. The pull out sofa bed with its 3 inch thick mattress my 5-year-old slept on was actually more comfortable. My kids feet were black if they didn’t wear their shoes in the room. There were black hairs behind the bathroom door (we are blondes and brunettes), a giant hairball in the kitchen. There were no toiletries, the washer/dryer barely worked (I had to hang every piece of laundry I washed), no detergent to wash any dishes we used. The walls of the room were paper thin and we could hear road noise and the 11 pm dumpster pick up like it was in the room with us. The WiFi signal was unreliable and weak. The main pool was frigid and the most shallow point as over 5ft deep. My kids are great swimmers, but the pool wasn’t enjoyable because they couldn’t touch anywhere and we were told no floats were allowed. They did have two kiddie pools but they were tiny and only 1.5 ft deep., which weren’t much fun for the 8 and 9 year olds. We had breakfast on site once, and that was enough. The food was not good. We also ate at the pool bar one afternoon. We sat down at 11:58 and the waiter promptly told us they didn’t serve lunch until 12. I said that is only two minutes away, so I think we can wait. Well, the food again wasn’t good and the whole process took 2 hours!! Ridiculous amount of time for chicken nuggets and burgers to be served and eaten. Overall the hotel was run down, uncomfortable and unfriendly. I would look elsewhere. Conversely we stayed at Martinhal Chiado aparthotel while in Lisbon and it was outstanding. Clean, awesome service, comfortable. Wish we would have chosen their Sagres location for the second half of our trip.

Desventajas: El colchón me resultó duro trabajo la iluminación de la habitación de dos camas insuficiente.

Ventajas: Escogimos una apartamento de dos habitaciones y fue fabuloso. El mobiliario estaba en perfecto estado y era comodísimo. Todo muy, muy amplio, y con una terraza enorme. Cada habitación tenía su propio baño. La cocina tenía todo lo necesario (incluyendo lavavajillas y lavadora). La limpieza excelente. La terraza muy amplia (sin vistas, pero eso no importaba). Disfrutamos además de la piscina cubierta y el jacuzzi para nosotros solos. Al ir en invierno, el precio fue muy bajo, con lo cual la relación calidad/precio, más que superada.

Desventajas: Nada.

Ventajas: The hotel still has an old style elegance. The breakfast buffet is great. The rooms each have a Nespresso machine, only remember to bring your preferred capsules as choice is limited. The staff are friendly and attentive. The Championship course still challenges all but the best of golfers.

Desventajas: Watch out for the wine list, which is not accurate, especially if you are a stickler for a particular vintage.

Ventajas: Great massages. Great pool. Tranquil and friendly. 4th time here- we love it!

Desventajas: Pool and pool bar shutting before sunset

Ventajas: Nice pool , lovely grounds , nice waiting staff in the dining room ., helpful room service , had to request for a kettle .

Desventajas: Staff could be abrupt and not very helpful on reception , didn’t really want to help so I didn’t feel that they treated myself and family with any enthusiasm and didn’t take any interest in our vacation .

Ventajas: The surroundings, the terraces, the restaurants

Ventajas: Nos encanto todo, el personal es una gente muy cercana y una amabilidad excepcional. Las instalaciones perfectas, está todo impoluto, los desayunos completísimos, y las cenas buenísimas. Música en directo por las noches, parad tomarte algo después de cenar. Transporte que te llevan y te traen a la playa, con zona reservada de tumbonas y toallas. Restaurante en la playa del propio hotel. No dudaría en ir otra vez. Pasamos unos días encantadores.

Desventajas: Nada

Desventajas: La habitación, demasiados ruidos

Desventajas: Estuvimos una semana y menos dos días tuvimos que quejarnos de la limpieza de la habitación. Íbamos con un bebé y dejaba mucho que desear. Hotel muy antiguo y poco conservado. Pone que dispone de playa privada y la playa más cercana es la de Alvor que se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche. El personal amable, aunque la mayoría no habla ni entiendo bien el español.

Ventajas: Un hotel tranquilo y agradable. Personal muy atento y buenas instalaciones,

Desventajas: Algo lejos del centro de Portimao, aunque en mi caso no supuso problema.

Ventajas: Excelentes instalaciones, piscina, habitación muy confortable, excelente desayuno. Muy buena relación calidad-precio para alojamiento pero muy caro para consumiciones en restaurantes y bar de la piscina.

Desventajas: El precio de la comida y bebida del bar de la piscina.

Ventajas: We had liked everything! Starting from the kind staff, even if yong, the superior food quality and serving as it should be in a 5 star hotel, ending in the exterior areas extremely well care, and the comfort of the room. There couldn’t be more fantastic than it was. All the people help when necessary, assisted when attended. Weather was also perfect and help to create memorable moments but it wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t the good management and training to the yong staff. Thanks. Looking forward to return.

Desventajas: Some minor faults from yong staff, however we cannot judge the entire facility because of it.

Ventajas: El apartamento es bastante amplio, con una gran terraza, la cocina muy completa. En general las instalaciones del hotel y aparcamiento exterior. El desayuno correcto. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Desventajas: Limpieza mejorable. El sofá cama muy incomodo. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba del todo bien.

Ventajas: Very spacious Rooms Exceptionally clean and very relaxing pool area

Desventajas: Its a good 10 minute walk into village downhill. Which was fine for us as we like walking. But no good for travellers with problems getting about walking. Although taxi only €4 into village and €4 back up to hotel

Ventajas: El hotel en general bien, apartamento amplio y cómodo.. La piscina limpia y bien! Alvor nos gustó mucho, tranquilo y con muchos restaurantes.. El paseo y las playas genial!

Desventajas: No había servicio de cena y al centro cogimos el coche.. El desayuno regular..

Ventajas: Vey friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast

Ventajas: Fantastic property both inside and out. Lovely pool area, clean open rooms. I would highly recommend a “sea view” room. Free parking outside. A full supermarket about 5 mins walk away.

Desventajas: It was just a little bit a of a walk from the village of Alvor, about 10 minutes if you walk fast. We were a couple, I wouldn’t like to be a family without a car bringing all your bag and baggage (and kids) down to the beach. Also one thing which I thought was really annoying. I spent ages trying to turn on the oven in the room to no avail. I read the booklet back to front in the room and it just gave instructions for the hob (which didn’t work either). My last resort was to ring reception to which I got “Did you pay?” .... very confused I reply “Did I pay for what?” To which I got a snide reply of “You must pay 3euro per day to use the oven”. To be honest it’s not entirely the fact that you have to pay for the oven, (We are in another hotel now for the next part of our stay and the oven works for free!) it was more that no where in any of the literature does it say or was it mentioned at check in that you must pay for the oven. Such a silly thing to leave a bad taste in my mouth after our Lovely stay.

Ventajas: La ubicación

Desventajas: Falta de limpieza en las habitaciones, caminabas dos pasos y los pies negros. En el desayuno personal antipático y con pocas ganas de trabajar, no reponían con agilidad y si pedías algo que faltaba te ponían mala cara. Además asquerosa la forma de limpiar las mesas. Pasaban un paño, tiraban todos los restos al suelo y sacudían un poco los salvamanteles tb en el suelo

Ventajas: El estudio de un dormitorio es perfecto. Comodidad y limpieza excepcionales. La cocina bien equipada. dormitorio abierto al salón, ambos dan a una gran terraza. Decoración con mucho gusto. Dando un paseo llegas al pueblo. Perfecto para descansar. El pueblo está muy ambientado.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones son prácticamente nuevas y la piscina genial

Desventajas: Las camas muy incómodas, para el tipo de hotel que es, deberían de tener mejores colchones vuelvo con la espalda reventada. La comida igual, venimos de vuelta con la barriga mal....los 4 con diarreas. El.deaayuna esta muy orientado a guiris( ingleses alemanes) a los españoles no nos tienen muy en cuenta

Ventajas: La habitación muy amplia. La cama cómoda. Muy completo el equipamiento.

Desventajas: Poca animación

Ventajas: Son unos apartamentos bastantes agradables y muy limpios, con un buen bufete de desayuno, el café me pareció bueno.. El wifi llega a todas las instalaciones. El personal muy amable.

Desventajas: No me gustaron los colchones de las camas, son un poco duros, aunque eso va a gustos y la temperatura del agua de la piscina un poco fría aunque mejor que la del mar que está helada en el Algarve.

Ventajas: Vistas a la playa. Restaurantes cerca

Desventajas: Decoracion un poco anticuada

Ventajas: La ubicación y la amplitud del apartamento Las vistas y las terrazas son estupendas!!!

Ventajas: Ubicación perfecta, la amabilidad y disponibilidad del personal, y el apartamento en si , que era amplio y comfortable. Sin problemas para aparcar el coche en zona cerrada y acceso a la playa.

Desventajas: Por ponerle un pero, simplemente que repongan la vajilla en lo referente a vasos, sobre todo de gran capacidad para refrescos y agua; es incomodo beber refresco en un vaso en el que solo cabe un hielo.

Ventajas: Great Location

Ventajas: I very much enjoy the area of Praia do Vau. Coral is nicely located with easy access to the beach and to local restaurants. The staff was most pleasant and helpful.

Desventajas: There really is nothing not to like for me. I enjoy the area, walking on the beach, etc.

Ventajas: Have stopped at the coral many times Maria and all the staff are always helpful would recommend the place to anyone. Praia da Rocha Portimao and alvor are all short taxi rides away.

Ventajas: Plenty of space and the lady in reception was so helpful

Ventajas: Very close to the beach Praia do Vau, easily walk to Praia da Rocha and Alvor. The property was ok clean but shabby. Maria at the front desk was wonderful and a great help.

Desventajas: Whilst the accommodation is dated it’s a great place to stay, convenient for the beaches and buses and the staff are great too.

Desventajas: Que el parking estuviera a 3 cuadras y el gimnasio demasiado básico y en mal funcionamiento

Ventajas: Location was great, front desk was very helpful. The buffet breakfast was good by European standards.

Desventajas: No kettle or coffee in the room. 24 hour room service, but I’m not rich enough for a 6.50 euro cup of tea. The restaurant staff were a bit surly.

Ventajas: Great beach location. Great property. Fantastic views. Convenient location for restaurants and bars.

Desventajas: Dated, poor breakfast and in-room facilities.

Desventajas: Staff rude and unhelpful regarding parking. Advertises that there is parking available yet your car is moved to an offsite multi-storey. If there is no staff available to take your car....tough luck as we were told 2days on the trot

Ventajas: Friendly staff

Desventajas: The toilet in the room was broken and I had to call maintenance twice in 12 hours. The hotel gym was under renovation and not available tog guests, and there was no arrangement with another hotel to use their gym. The roof in the ground floor hallway was leaking so we had to walk around buckets of water.

Ventajas: Desayuno muy bueno, ubicación perfecta en primera linea de una playa espectacular. Habitación grande y bien amueblada, baño en condiciones, muy limpio todo, aparcamiento gratis muy cerca. Portimao es una ciudad muy bonita con su río y su marina espectaculares

Desventajas: Desde luego no es un 5 estrellas, para nada, pero sí es un buen hotel, con unas vistas espectaculares a la playa. Necesitaría cambiar un poco la decoración, y las "amenities" no son de un hotel de esa categoría. Es una zona excesivamente turística para mi gusto.

Desventajas: In a five star hotel they should not have brown blankets on the bed anymore. Hairdryer very poor quality.

Desventajas: Muy ruidosa la habitación. Muy calurosa, aunque había ventilador. Taquillas pequeñas. Baños mejorables. Limpieza de la habitación bien. De los baños y duchas (escasos), no tan bien.

Desventajas: No estaba muy limpio: la cocina tenia muchos utensilios sucios, los cojines que hacían de almohadas olían, las taquillas tenían un pequeño candado muy fácil de forzar si alguien quisiera robar, la ducha era muy estrecha y de personal solo conocí al padre del dueño que llego tras esperarle más de media hora en la puerta y no vi a nadie más, era como un alojamiento fantasma

Ventajas: Vasco is very hospitable person. He is very nice and welcoming. Place is realy beautiful - the decor is well thought out. The location is great - old city. You can park your car for free near the stadium.

Desventajas: The bathroom and the kitchen was dirty almost all the time (we were there for 3 nights). I think this is because of persons who use it, not the owner... But this is a problem that needs to be solved.

Ventajas: Han sido muy amables desde el principio. Pedí que me cambiaran a una habitación con vistas al mar y a pesar de no tenerla reservada hicieron lo posible y lo gestionaron rápidamente. El servicio es muy bueno y son muy educados. La zona está genial porque todo está cerca. Me ha gustado mucho

Ventajas: The staff were all superb. The location is excellent. The hotel is very good for a smaller budget, if you want to stay on the main Praia strip.
