Hotel was super-convenient with easy freeway access. Room was quiet and very large; beds were a little soft for my preference but pillows were great. Breakfast was incredible -- items were fresh and hot, and much more selection than your typical continental breakfast. Coffee was very good -- a definite plus!
The hotel had a lot of good features if you had kids with you. The staff was great. The only thing we didn't like is the room had a funny smell.
Stayed at this hotel as most others in area were sold out. (They also sold out that evening by 6pm.) Free 'happy hour' was hot dogs, mac 'n cheese, and chicken tenders, with one choice of draft beer or wine. Hotel was not prepared for a full house - they were sold out of bottled water at their little store, and were out of coffee each of the 3 times we tried to get some in the morning. Although less than 10 years old, the rooms are very dated looking. (Picture a round dial wall thermostat, floral pictures in gold frames, and a recliner in your room.) Beds were pretty comfortable though. Definitely not a hotel for the business guest!
Morning and evening food is a VERY nice touch...........
I stayed here while attending a local convention. It's a bit of a drive from downtown Indy, but that's the only 'con' about the hotel. It was clean and I found the staff to be VERY friendly and helpful. The breakfast and evening meal are included and were a nice added value.
The Drury Inn was our stopping point on our way home to Michigan from a Florida Spring Break trip. Normally, after 12.5 hours of driving, any hotel looks excellent. But this one really is. The front desk attendant had a genuine smile ready as I walked in the lobby. Check-in was fast and efficient. And... I could smell freshly popped popcorn. A favorite. The elevators were swift and efficient (did I mention we were tired?) and the room was clean and fresh. We only enjoyed if for about 30 minutes before we conked out, but it was very nice. This is our second Drury Inn, and they both get high marks.
Wish the dinner was later for guests checking in late, but there are many nearby places to eat. Make sure your GPS gets you on the bypass, instead of going through downtown.
The only complaint is the 2 night minimum booking for special events. .......didn't plan on staying for 2 days.
The staff was very professional and kind. The hotel was clean and new. The breakfast was a substantial buffet for being included in the price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Top notch hotel - super clean everywhere - friendly, helpful staff all the way around from every employee we encountered. Rooms are nice and have room darkening curtains, beds were very comfortable, nice bathroom/shower. Free hot breakfast was excellent and saved us time and money, free dinner consisted of salad, baked potato, macaroni/cheese, hot dogs, chips, etc - nothing fancy but all good. Gave us a card for three free drinks from their bar area for hours between 5:30-7:00 pm each day! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone I know looking to stay in the Indianapolis area - no complaints!
I've stayed at this hotel several times while visiting my brother. Even though there are many other hotels closer, I always go out of my way to stay here. The hotel is clean, the staff members are friendly , and the included breakfast is plentiful, with a nice variety of food.
Breakfast can be improved.
Facility was in great shape. Very comfortable. Good breakfast.
The room, the interior design No microwave or refrigerator
Very Clean room. Indoor pool looked nice but we didn't have time to use. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was kinda lame. Also there was a sewer gas odor in our bathroom. Room 210.
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, they even let us check in early so my daughter could get ready for her event witch was greatly appreciated. We come to Indy every year and will be staying here from now on. When your 13 year old daughter says dad can we stay here next year, you know it's a good place!! Hot tub heater was broken but that kinda thing happens.
The location was good. Close to highway and shopping center. Very run down. Stairs were not well maintained and held puddles of water in rain. I ended up slipping on stairs due to the standing water. Beds were hard and blankets old and rough. Tv only got cable not any local channels. Air conditioning was weak, never felt cold. Fridge never got cold. Never again.
It was a great place to stay. The staff was very accomidating and pleasant to work with. I would stay here again if in this area.
The staff was nice and accomodating. the location was right were I need it. The rooms were good. The only thing I did not like was one of our rooms the front door latch was not secured.
They only book you in a room with 1 bed. I was first told when I called that they didn't have rooms with 2 beds. When I called back and spoke to.another employee, they explained they only had a few rooms with 2 beds and they were sold out. Beds were bad!!
Nothing Hard to find behind a furniture store, was remodeling, staff was not very friendly, ran out of coffee packets
Inside the room was clean and quality. It was the only positive. The staff copied my card/license. Very unprofessional. When I asked in the morning if it had been shredded, the new staff said she couldn't find it. The elevation and Hallway stunk badly. The breakfast consisted of smashed muffin and awful coffee.
Price, and the kitchenette concept. There were no plates, glasses, flatware etc in the kitchenette cupboards. The TV had 'snowy' reception problems, and no real news channel-- just Fox Noise. The bed pillows were flat as cardboard. But, all in all, it was clean and quiet, and affordable.
Convenience Cooking odors from extended stay kitchens and Walls were somewhat thin allowing transfer of conversation from the adjoining room.
Right in the middle of a great area to be Room wasn't fully stocked with kitchen items and they didn't have enough in the hotel
Great location Under staffed
Staff were nice and tried to be helpful. I was surprised that it was listed as 7/10 in customer satisfaction. It is not a 2.5 star hotel. At the most should be 2 star. Hotel was clean and everything worked but the lobby smelled of stale smoke and the quality wasn't there. Not a good breakfast.

Nice hotel staff. Beds were horrible!!
I didn't like anything to be honest. I couldn't wait to check out the next morning. The room was dirty. Trash wasn't emptied. Sheets were pee stained. It was supposed to be nonsmoking and it smelled like smoke. It took forever to check in. Bugs in the room. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Would not recommend to anyone.
I am not smoked. so the smoking smell is bad for me.
I stink really bad and the bathroom area was dirty
The room was by the pool. It was loud all night. People were outside yelling . The staff was not very friendly or hospitable at all. I will not be staying here again, for the same price I can stay at the ramada and it's much nicer and much larger
Nothing Nasty bathtub, bed, pillows, bugs, trash and open food in the drawers. The whole stay was just horrible. Had to call corporate even, we will see if anything will even get done about this situation. Very unhappy and upset with Motel 6 and their staff.
Do not stay at this dilapidated motel if you value your safety. I booked online not knowing its location. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by multiple signs indicating "Not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle." There were nefarious characters lurking about in the parking lot. The entire structure looks on the verge of being demolished. I checked in, went to my room (which was clean) stayed three minutes and then left and got a room at Hampton Inn across the street.
Rooms were very clean, comfortable beds. Staff was very nice. The reviews I read online had me scared, I even brought my own sheets. The bathroom was spotless. I would definitely stay here again. Our rooms were on the third floor so we had no one above us. People hanging around late at night in the parking lot was somewhat concerning.
