Ventajas: La ubicación es sin duda la mejor en la ciudad, el bar y la terraza frente al río son espectaculares. El transporte público excelente, a una cuadra del hotel o incluso menos. La atención del personal impecable.

Desventajas: Hubiera sido agradable tener una máquina de café en la habitación.

Ventajas: The staff efficiently and pleasantly performed their duties to perfection. We were made to feel welcome and assured of good care. Excellent all around

Desventajas: I can not think of a thing I wish different. Completely satisfied

Ventajas: The professionalism of staff, other than the cleaning ladies... the lounge manager and her team running the lounge area near the window seating who really looked after us with a delicious club sandwich, on arrival as we chatted to other guests as we waited for our room : the front desk team and concierge (v impressive awards and medals!) including David, our limosine driver who immaculately picked us up and welcomed us to our new life in Switzerland. This was excellent unpretentious and respectable service, throughout . Totally enjoyed our stay.

Desventajas: Dining options were limited, it being a Sunday but room service and lounge service more than made up for this. Food was excellent. Unfortunately, when we were taken to our room (I was on crutches, too) it wasn't ready. It was very embarrassing for the front desk colleague who accompanied us. The housekeeping ladies were having their own fun on their own time, changing bed linen, dropping it in passageway etc and not picking dirty dressing gowns, up.We sat waiting, next to them as a new room was being sourced that was ready. They carried on laughing and joking in their home language, right in front of us. I was appalled by this. It took us by surprise. It felt like they were working in a value level hotel. They seemed oblivious to the proud standards of the rest of the hotel team who were exemplary. They just stepped over things and carried on. First impressions were really not good at this point.

Ventajas: Wonderful experience. Nicola the owner ihas been very friendly and warm. Since I need to come back to Basel I will definitlely will first check availability at the Micro Hotel before trying others.

Ventajas: The staff were absolutely top class and friendly! They even dropped me off to the train station!!!

Desventajas: Quality of the toiletries could be better..

Ventajas: The closest Hotel to the Fair of basel. Clean and spacious. I will definitely come back again.

Ventajas: Our hosts were exceptional! They went out of their way to assist us. Our stay in Basel was comfortable and the hotel is close to trams and buses, restaurants and cafes. There was even a carnival up the road which had a fun and festive feel to it.

Ventajas: La cercanía del hotel con la estación de tren a la cual llegue procedente de Frankfurt. Llegué a Frankfurt procedente de Santiago de Chile, por lo que encontrarme con el hotel a walking distance fue maravilloso.

Desventajas: Considerando que el objetivo era llegar a dormir para el día siguiente tener reuniones temprano, fue excelente llegar a ese hotel. Además el rental car Hertz estaba a pasos del hotel tb.

Ventajas: Very helpful and polite staff.

Ventajas: Very convenient location next to the train station, but also tram stops. The centre of Basel and Christmas markets are a short comfortable tram ride away and the hotel gave us Basel cards which enables public transport travel. Rooms are spacious and bathroom felt new. The bed was very comfortable and windows are sound proof. Breakfast was exceptionally good.

Desventajas: We came down for breakfast at a busy time and had to wait for a table.

Ventajas: Desayuno Extraordinario. Personal muy agradable y servicial. Muy buena conexión a internet. Excelente ubicación, cercano a estaciones y locales de comida.

Desventajas: El único inconveniente, no atribuíble al Hotel, fue que estaban en obras con las vías del tranvía y habían vallado el exterior del hotel y había que hacer un tour para cruzar

Desventajas: Next to busy street, but windows very well insulated for sound.

Ventajas: Bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was really good - tasty and good variety of foods (lots of healthy choices mixed with sweet options/ classics). Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Desventajas: The twin room was a bit to small for two people. There was no hot water in the room (only coffee machine), we had to go to the basement to make a tea.

Ventajas: Very nice and clean hotel. Location is great, closed to old city. Service and breakfast are nice.

Ventajas: Super helpful staff. Great location for the city but out of the melee; tranquil garden terrace. Great breakfast; nice touch with the honesty bar for a night cap.

Ventajas: Me gustó todo, ubicación (está a un minuto del centro), muy confortable (habitación-camas y baño muy cómodo y limpio), la atención del personal (esforzandose en hablar español-indicaciones turísticas-muy amables). Cuando llegamos nos habian preparado una Basel Card para cada uno. Las 2 opciones que me ofrecieron para desayuno me parecieron geniales.

Desventajas: Quizás un poquito caro, pero todo en Suiza lo es.

Ventajas: La atención es súper buena! La de la recepción es súper atenta, la ubicación es buenísima! Súper cerca de la estación de trenes y a 3 minutos caminando del centro! Súper recomendable!

Ventajas: Desde el check-in hasta la salida, una experiencia excelente. El hotel está literalmente al otro lado de la calle de la estación de tren. Es un paseo agradable a la zona del casco antiguo y al río. Y un rápido viaje de vuelta en tranvía con el pase gratuito de la ciudad incluido. La habitación era grande y estaba bien equipada. El baño estaba impecable, bien equipado y con una gran ducha a ras de suelo. El desayuno incluido era delicioso y ofrecía una buena variedad que se servía en un comedor precioso.

Desventajas: Nada. Este hotel era genial.

Ventajas: La habitación fué mejor de lo que me pareció por fotos. Personal muy amable, nos regalaron un dulce típico de Basilea al llegar y un detalle al irnos. Habitación muy amplia para ir con niños, con dos baños y todo muy limpio. Desayuno muy completo en un salón precioso. El hotel esta justo enfrente de la estación central de trenes, perfecto para llegar en 2 minutos y a 10 minutos del centro.

Desventajas: Nada

Ventajas: Estancia perfecta. Desayuno genial con pan sin gluten,fruta, huevos, zumo, todo orgánico. Personal que habla español. Muy atento todo el mundo. Al lado de la estación para ir a otras ciudades y a 3 paradas de tranvía al centro histórico. Hotel con un encanto inigualable. Una estancia de 10. Volvería.

Ventajas: Ubicación perfecta enfrente estación de tren para hacer excursiones, a dos pasos bus aeropuerto y tranvías para ir al centro de Basel, aunque a pié son 15 minutos. Restaurantes y tiendas por la zona. Hotel limpio, edificio tradicional, el comedor preciosos, el personal muy amable y ayudan ante cualquier duda, hablan españo ly francés e inglés, pese a ser un cantón alemán. El desayuno excelente, rico y variado, de calidad. Hotel tranquilo, pulcro y con encanto. Wifi rápido y minibar gratis, albornoz, zapatillas, abren la cama y preparan el baño por la noche, cosa que ya solo se ve en hoteles de superlujo.

Desventajas: No puedo ponerle pegas.

Desventajas: La pieza era muy calurosa, no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y me entregaron un ventilador. El ascensor no funcionó el primer día y yo estaba en el piso 4.

Ventajas: The location couldn’t be better; the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They do achieve their motto: arrive as a guest and leave as a friend.

Desventajas: Rooms were not well lit

Desventajas: The walls seemed thin - we could hear the neighbors right next door.

Ventajas: The location was good and the staff very friendly and efficient. There was a Swiss restaurant next to the hotel which the staff recommended, and the food was delicious. The beer nice too. Läderach, my favorite chocolate in the world, has a location in the train station across the street from the hotel. Perfect!

Desventajas: The room was pretty small - which I selected because we only had a one night stay over. As we were across from the train station- which I also selected and knew in advance - the cable cars/trans kept coming and going late into the evening and again early the next morning. So, this is a pretty active area and a bit noisy.......

Ventajas: After the second stay, Gaia is now my favorite hotel in Basel!

Desventajas: Podrían poner un banquito en el cuarto de baño.

Ventajas: Our room was very spacious overlooking a courtyard, could hear church bells nearby in the evenings (only for a few minutes each evening); nice lounge and patio, breakfast optional was a very nice array of meats, cheeses, breads, coffees, teas, juices and more (we're not big breakfast eaters so did not partake-- cost was 16 francs).

Desventajas: No coffee maker available in our room. Would have liked it for making hot water. Beds were a little firm.

Ventajas: The room was amazing and SO comfortable!!!! It was very close to everything - the tram and bus route was a few minutes walk away (even for me as I need a crutch to walk it was really not difficult). We did not do the breakfast as we had an early train to catch to Interlaken but we did enjoy the whole stay experience and the staff were so friendly and very very helpful! Will definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a superb experience. Thank you so much!!

Desventajas: Nothing really! It was just perfect!! Can't suggest anything further. We could even drop off our luggage early, which helped a lot. Well done guys!! You have a lovely hotel!!

Ventajas: Great location close to public transportation, quiet atmosphere, clean and spacious. Large bath with a roomy shower. Extra seating space with chairs and table. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Desventajas: Had to ask to get a cup of coffee but at the same time the staff always went and got it for you. The elevator is small, basically only one person with large luggage at a time. Can’t say I really didn’t like any of what I’ve mention, it was just different than accustomed to.

Ventajas: Nos gustó mucho la decoración de la habitación, era mucho más bonita que en las fotos. En la habitación se estaba muy calentito y el desayuno era muy bueno (un pequeño bufet). No conseguimos ver si tenían servicio de cena para el interior de las habitaciones. El personal era muy atento y agradable y, en general, había personal que hablaba español. La ubicación está bastante céntrica y el transporte público queda relativamente cerca.

Desventajas: No hubo nada en especial que no me gustase del alojamiento, aunque sí que podrían haber incorporado una carta de menú que ofreciesen dentro del servicio de habitaciones. Por lo demás, todo perfecto.

Ventajas: La habilidad del personal, hablaban español cosa que se agradece a pesar de controlar el inglés. Magnífica ubicación, limpieza, comodidad, tranquilidad, buena relación calidad precio. Vuelvo a repetir, lo mejor la atención en especial del chico italiano de Calabria.

Great breakfast buffet for 16 francs.

Ventajas: Good proximity to old town. Lovely receptionist, very helpful. Very comfortable bed.

Desventajas: Noise from traffic and tram. We had a bedroom on the corner by a busy junction so not conducive to a good nights sleep.

Desventajas: Sin ser un problema, y al ser un hotel pequeño, las instalaciones (gimnasio, bar, zona de juegos) son acordes al tamaño y al tipo de hotel

Ventajas: Very pleasant stay, amyzingly warm, helpful, competent staff. All facilities good (but didn't have time to test the gym :-( ). Really good breakfast. A sincere thank you to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable and restful. I also benefitted from a free upgrade which was really kind. Finally, the "tea and espresso" machine in the bedroom, and the complementary dosettes, were really appreaciated, as were the fruit and flavoured waters in the lobby.

Desventajas: Lift, corridoor and rooms spotless and fully functional but a little "old-looking" - really not a problem but a bit surprising all the same.

Desventajas: It was noisy at night if the window was open, but quiet with it shut.

Ventajas: The hotel is not in the center but not at all far and in a good position to arrive by car or by public transportation. Once you have the free transportation card you can enjoy the city. The room are modern but not too much, comfortable and the bathroom is quite big. Staff is always available to help and kind. So in general I can suggest the hotel to others

Ventajas: Todo en general. Instalaciones muy nuevas y modernas. Muy limpio. Personal muy amable. Muy cerca del transporte público que permite llegar al centro en poco tiempo. Nuestra habitación era estupenda. Dos habitaciones comunicadas por una puerta de cristal (una era el dormitorio principal con el baño , y la otra el saloncito con sofá cama), ambas de buen tamaño. También tenía una pequeña cocina con vitrocerámica, microondas y nevera. Hay varios enchufes del modelo suizo, pero que son compatibles con nuestros cargadores de móviles y demás, y también hay un par de los redondos para clavija gorda. Justo al lado del hotel hay un centro comercial con un supermercado y varias opciones para comer. Nosotros estuvimos encantados. ¡Repetiríamos sin duda!

Ventajas: I appreciated their service of soft drink anytime available at the reception area. There is the supermarkets at next door.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones y la habitación geniales. Hay fruta fresca, zumo y té durante las 24 horas incluido en el precio. Además en la habitación también hay te y café.

Desventajas: En el baño había un poco de moho en la ducha. El precio está al nivel de Suiza, caro . El parking cada noche 16 CH.

Ventajas: Un hotel nuevo, cómodo, personal atento, tienen un coffee corner, ideal para el primer café de la mañana, gratuito; las habitaciones espaciosas, con camas súper cómodas y el baño provisto de todo, con suficiente espacio. Localización, creemos q no Muy cerca del centro, pero nosotras lo queríamos de tránsito para ir a Alsacia, así que genial comunicado, y encima al lado del aeropuerto. Parking cómodo.

Ventajas: I booked this hotel after my flight was cancelled. It exceeded my expectations as it had a few perks such as a free Basel Card and 24 hour coffee bar. The check in was seamless and the staff very helpful. The hotel was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and they had in room coffee and fridge. There were a few restaurants nearby and we choose Italian which was very good. There is a large mall nearby however I wished I had the time to have visited it. It was a quick and easy walk to the tram which was free with the Basel Card. Only 4 stops to the Old Town. Very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Desventajas: No airport transfer. It cost 55 CHF to get to the airport at 5:00 AM. This was the only negative.

Ventajas: Perfect, one of the best hotels I’ve ever been!

La parada del tranvía está a solo 100mts aprox y te lleva a los principales puntos turisticos con una frecuencia muy buena El parking es de pago, queda Justo debajo del hotel y nos permitieron el último dejarlo por más tiempo sin cargo Nos ofrecieron bicicletas sin cargo Hay un stand con café e infusiones, zumos y dispensar de agua fría y caliente a voluntad las 24hs Camas y almohadas muy cómodas El desayuno muy bueno aunque un poco caro 19€ x persona, pero sábados y domingos te permiten desayunar hasta las 12hs, con lo cual aprovechamos e hicimos tipo un Brunch

Desventajas: Nada

Ventajas: En general todo muy bien. Café, jugos y algunas frutas disponibles durante el día en la recepción. También en la habitación hay café y agua mineral.

Desventajas: Los protectores de almohadas y colchones son impermeables lo que produce calor y transpiración y disminuye notablemente la calidad del descanso. El precio del desayuno es elevado.

Ventajas: Everything is nice.. staff, facilities, breakfast, cleanliness, room, cancellation policy.. excellent.

Ventajas: La habitación estaba limpia, era cómoda y tenía muebles bastante modernos. El personal era amable y servicial. Muy buen desayuno incluido en la habitación.

Desventajas: La habitación no tenía aire acondicionado. Tuvimos que usar un pequeño tramo de escaleras para llegar a nuestra habitación, que era engorroso con el equipaje.

Ventajas: Su ubicación me pareció excelente ya que se encuentra cerca de lo más importante que visitar en el centro. "Ni tan lejos ni tan cerca" Nos atendió muy bien en recepción una señorita brasileña

Desventajas: NO HABÍA AIRE ACONDICIONADO EN LOS CUARTOS y hacía mucho calor. Pedimos otro ventilador y una señorita suiza de recepción nos atendió a regañadientes y poco flexible, pues "era un ventilador por cuarto"; pero la suite es de 2 niveles y en ambos hay recámara... por lo que faltaba uno. Finalmente, después de insistir, lo consiguieron. El hotel tiene 3 edificios, y la "suite" que reservamos estaba hasta el último piso de uno de ellos, el cual NO CONTABA CON ELEVADOR... muy complicado subir maletas hasta allá arriba El ESTACIONAMIENTO LEJANO queda a unas 3 cuadras, y en el hotel no hay espacio para el "drop off" de las personas y maletas. Finalmente, de noche, es ruidoso cuando se tienen que mantener las ventanas abiertas, pues por ahí pasan coches y el tranvía, además de escuchar a los comensales de su restaurant

Ventajas: The hotel upgraded us, which was a very nice (although probably just lucky) touch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and spoke a perfect english. The structure is beautiful.

Desventajas: The only downside is that the building is old and there are no elevators/lifts.

Ventajas: Complimentary water, tea and coffee in the room. On check in a free Basel card is received which is really useful as it provides 50% off entry into main attractions and free public transport! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Desventajas: Small room with scuffs and marks on the wall and furniture. Fridge in the room smelt and there was a sewage smell from the bathroom which only went following airing of the room. The breakfast was not good with a limited selection of options.

Ventajas: Breakfast was exquisite, great selection of high quality food. Location is perfect, just on top of Old Town, on a tram line, both central and quiet and the same time, in a picturesque street. The hotel's design is minimalistic, smart and neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Desventajas: There is no parking on the premises, but the hotel has a valet service that will take care of stowing your car. Really hard to find anything to complain about.

Desventajas: Expected there to be facilities for tea and coffee in the room. It is important to be able to start the day with a coffee. It is off-putting that there were no facilities for this.

Ventajas: I can't imagine a hotel being more central. It was basically at the Christmas market with all the stalls just outside the hotel door. Rooms were spacious and soundproof. Cozy lobby with a bar.

Desventajas: There are no breakfast tables as such: there is one large common table that sits 10 people, the rest have to sit in lounge armchairs and use coffee tables.

Ventajas: Great location, quiet room.

Ventajas: La situación del hotel es inmejorable. La habitación es bastante grande y sobre todo me gustó el detalle de la llama de fuego en la tv, todo un detalle. La limpieza es también muy buena.

Ventajas: Ubicación céntrica, hall con cafetería muy acogedora, moderna y actual

Ventajas: Ubicación perfecta, personal muy atento y amable. Como detalle al ir de Luna de Miel nos dieron habitación superior aunque solo contratamos una noche. Ya conocemos otros hoteles de esta cadena y si están disponibles son nuestras primera elección

Ventajas: Es moderno, cómodo, relación calidad precio buena, nos dieron billete de transporte público gratis y descuentos para museos, nos dieron una habitación mejorada a la reservada, lo del mini bar gratis. Amabilidad del personal, desayuno muy bueno.volveria definitivamente!

Desventajas: Servicio de limpieza de habitaciones despistado, un día llegaron muy tarde y otro olvidaron dejar las toallas del baño

Ventajas: El transporte en Basel era gratuito con la BaselCard que nos entregaban en el hotel, ademas de tener todo del minibar gratis. El personal era muy atento

Ventajas: La situacion muy buena, con transporte a la puerta.

Desventajas: El gimnasio un poco anticuado

Ventajas: The staff are super helpful, the room is modern (shower, lighting, etc) and has wonderful views. Very close to the main city center and tram right outside for getting around easy. Could not recommend enough!

Ventajas: Tamaño de la habitacion (hicimos upgrade) y atencion del personal del breackfast room

Desventajas: Al hacer upgrade tuvimos acceso al business lounge. Luego de quejarnos mejoro mucho pero los 2 primeros dias no disponia de snacks en absoluto. Solo bebidas.

Ventajas: Excelente ubicación, cómodo para ir caminando a los lugares más turísticos. El desayuno era muy bueno, con amplio horario. La habitación era excelente, incluían minibar. La relación calidad-precio es muy buena. Precios muy asumibles para la excelente calidad que tiene.

Desventajas: Nada negativo. Es excelente.

Ventajas: The bed was wonderful!

Desventajas: The room was up two flights of stairs when the receptionist said it was two steps. Lucky it wasn’t an issue

Ventajas: The location is great, 5 min walk to downtown. Bus and Subway stops just accross the street. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

Ventajas: Muy buena ubicación. Estás a 400 Metros del centro de la calidad . Tiene buenos servicio de bicicleta y tickets de transporte local, todo incluido en el precio de la reserva.

Desventajas: Pese a que las habitaciones son confortables, no cuentan con aire acondicionado. Un problema no menor , considerando las altas temperatura del verano de Suiza.

Ventajas: Staff are great? Hotel is modern and clean. Would happily stay again.

Ventajas: Excelente ubicación. Personal amabilisimo. Habitación tranquila,muy cómoda y confortable. Desayuno estupendo. Fue corta la estancia pero muy agradable. Lo recomendaré a amigos.

Ventajas: Excellent value for money, the staff was always there to assist us, clean and very comfort rooms and the breakfast was great, especially the homemade muesli!!

Desventajas: The location was not as centrally as our first impression was (we had to change 2 trams to get to the Christmas market). Claraplatz though is just a few minutes on foot!

Ventajas: I was impressed with this hotel. First of all I arrived at 10am and was informed by the lively red haired lady at the reception that my room was ready, so I was allowed to go in. That was very appreciated. I had a single room, and upon booking I asked whether they had rooms with baths (not usually the case for a single room) and upon entering the room...I find my bath :) Single room was perfect size with a free mini bar. Upon checking in I was given a transport card to travel for free (even to the airport if needed). When I was there it was raining and I found the additional umbrella (the big ones) to be very useful instead of the pocket umbrella that I had. Bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. Everything was perfect. Will surely return if I visit Basel again. Location is 4 tram stops from SBB train station and tram stops just less than a minute walk from the hotel. Inside they have a monitor to tell you the waiting time for nearby buses and trams so if t is too cold or raining you could wait at the hotel. The lady at check out (short bob hair) was so lovely and seemed genuinely interested in striking up a conversation. Overall 10+
